I.E., CA Star Wars Role-Playing Game Character Creation

In this thread I would like everyone to post their name, they're availabilty to play, what race they are interested in, and whether or not they have played an RPG before.

I would appreciate it if we could keep the chatter down on this thread, it will be easier to catalog. After posting you're information I will PM you with pertinent information on that race. You can be virtually ANY race in the SW movies, novels, comic books, I have the stats to over 200 species so I doubt you can stump me.

Any questions regarding the RPG itself should be made on the SWRPG discussion thread. I will do my best to answer you in a timely manner.

I am an Ambassador to the Reble Aliance from my planet. I prefer not to fight, instead I try to lie my way out of situations (which may get me into deeper situations, but gives me some time at least) I have a Protical droid who has been programmed to believe everything I say.
P.S. I am definatly a Human.

 

Ok guys! I have just went up to my storage garage and looked though all my Star Wars action figurers and micro machines. I have enough of both to use as figures for the role-playing game. Any figure you could possibly want to represent your character in the campaign I have in action figure or micro figures. Mitch I have a Boba for you, Mag I have a Jawa for you, and Justin I would assume that you would use Han. Unfortunately I do not have any Jedi Tw?licks in ether micro or Action figures (because I stop collecting after the disappointment in EP1) so if we were to use ether of those, court and Melissa, you would have to go bye your own?sorry.

Another option for figurines is to print out any of the drawings of you characters you would have and put them on cardboard cut outs and get cool holders for them.

Another would be to use Lego?s. You would build your own figure

So I am going to post a poll with these options so we can all agree. After you chose witch one post witch one you chose so I can see that only the players were the ones who got to vote and not out-siders.

Race: Twi'lek force adept (and twin sis to court)
past experience: extensive, D&D mostly but have been getting into Vampire of late. no SW before now though.

 

The Campaign is going to be held at my house at 7pm to whenever, every other Saturday night but unfortunately we are not going to be able to start until after the Renaissance faire is over, do to the fact that myself and three other players are going to be working their.

So unless something changes that?s how it is as of now.

The date that we will officially begin is Saturday June 21 at 7pm at my house. I know it seems like a long time, but everyone will be out of school, the four of us will not be working at Ren-fair, and this gives you guys more time to put thought into you characters and your storylines and to get your core rule books, and gives me more time to put together an extremely awesome campaign.

 

um.....once again, this is the CHARACTER CREATION THREAD, this post does not belong here.

 

grrrr..... the 21 is when the next Harry Potter book comes out! darn.... guess I'll have to hurry and read when I get it at midnight....right?

 

Here's AJ again with an update on my character.
I have scrapped the Lying Human Noble for a Mon Calmarian Noble. I havn't come up with a good name yet.
I am also running a Protical droid named Q3-P0. And that is about that.

oh come on courtney. YOu can do better than that. How about you come up with a name that isn't stolen. Something original. Atreides? Puh-lease.....Aayla? as in Secura? as in "my character is just like her"? Courtney, I love you to the end of the earth and back, but PLEASE!!!!! I know you can do better than this.

On a different note, I will soon be e-mailing you all a file that contains all the information pertinent to your race and character class. Dont' worry if you don't know what some of it means. It will all be explained later once we meet for the first session.

Mitch - Male Human Soldier or Scoundrel? (I'd start with Scoundrel and get soldier later)
Melissa - Female Twi'lek Force Adept
Andrea - (Gender?) Human Jedi (I need to confirm this with Brandon, I think the Jedi Slots are taken)
Shawn - Male Kel Dor Jedi
Carl - Male Jedi Consular

That's all nine of the starting players. Is there any mistakes here? I need all of you to PM me you're private E-mail that you can recieve files on. Also Andrea I need to confirm you're character before I send you anything but please still PM me your e-mail adress. Mitch, we need to discuss whether you want to start as a soldier or a scoundrel. PM me when you get the chance.

 

Looking at this list I see a HUGE problem. We are all either Jedi or Scoundrels, with the exception of Melissy Poo and AJ. We will definately need at least 1 soldier. A tech specialist wouldn't hurt (Megan, this sounds like a better Idea for you). We will also need a healer, Force Adepts and Jedi Consulars make the best healers, but my character is already made and he isn't that great at it.

 

Ok, it seems there was a bit of confusion and I got the list wrong. Andrea, sweetheart, I'm sorry but you ARE on the waiting list. I forgot all about DAN!!!! He never posted his character concept so I didn't see it.
