Ottawa Star Wars RPG club in Ottawa???

Hi everyone,

Is there a Star Wars RPG club in Ottawa? My husband loves RPGs, especially Star Wars but he's a little shy when it comes to meeting people. He's usually an excellent game master but is looking to actually play a role sometime and meet people with similar interests. Thanks!

I've been looking for a Star Wars RPG club in Ottawa for a few weeks now. I've never done an RP before but I'm a quick learner and I'll get anything I need to get. Just tell me what I need and when. Thanks, hope this gets going.

I haven't played Star Wars RPG for years, its cool to see some people keeping it alive

I cant tell by looking at them. Do they play somewhat like the hero clix stuff?

Because if they do OBN_Kenobi and I are thinking of getting into it.

 

Before now, i haven't even heard about Hero Clix. I checked wikipedia but its of no help. Looking at some pictures of them, i can say that SW Miniatures are more of a older person's game instead of being more for kids. There is a online tutorial/demo on how to play on their site, i suggest you check that out.

Actually minder, Star Wars En Direct is doing a show just on Miniatures because a new set is coming out this week. Brian is also going to do a sub subject for people that are either new to the game or interested in getting started

 

So I guess that means no Star Wars RPG?

 

I asked around and no one has the time to start one up
