Yes!

We each get to create a Star Wars character, and tell a story around our characters.
Your character is an extension of yourself, you could be a human Jedi, wookie Jedi, Twi'lek Jedi, or, any other 'class' like gaurd, Sith, scoundrel, etc...
Stories/advantures are based in the Star Wars universe and can continue anytime.
Your character grows in skills and power over time.
The only thing I find both good and bad, is that these sessions require a group(3 players -->) to play well.

No, d20 is the format for the official Star Wars RPG(WotC)... I just wanted to know if there were any Singaporeans who were interested in playing.
We can't play d20 in the threads.

d20 is a 20 sided die(singular of 'dice').

WotC is Wizards of the Coast, they make Magic : The Gathering CCG(Collectable Card Game).

wow its been about 2 to 3 months since i've last posted..anyways,
me interested in the rpg game provided a few things:

1) i don't want to be GM just a player
2) the game (and any updates to this board from me) will have to wait until
i come back from reservist on the 2nd March02
3) experienced GM (at least one with fantasy role playing experience) to play but for players, the rule can be laxed (with or w/o exp).
4) commited players and GM who can dedicate at least once a week to meet at
somebody's house (u can also rotate if u wish) to play.

Your thoughts?

hello back from reservist in Tekong bloody xian!! My skin has turned a darker
hue of red or brown

As for the games, i do not have a group at present that plays star wars so we have to start from scratch and i really need those who are really interested
to play to start to read (either buy or borrow) the rpg player's handbook
We can start off with the Battle of Theed preliminary box set as it is easier
to start and i don't want it to gather dust in my room too

so let me know who ar the guys (or gals like Darth Eagle etc) who are
into it and then we'll decide the time and place.

I'm quite serious, I have AD&D 3rd Edition, I'll bring it down.

more than two of us for the game? one more will do actually.
for the invasion of theed set, only the GM needs the set, the players don't
so i guess i will have to try my hand at GMing at last.

also, do they allow pple to play card games or rpg at comics shop in
siglap center?

i've been to siglap centre recently and both shops there do not allow
people there to set up tables, let alone play there.
one guy at a shop told me that it was only when the shop just started
setting up five yrs ago that they allow, but not anymore.

i suggest either my house (kembangan) or comics connection shop
at Pasir Ris' White Sands. or alternately anyone else's place?
