Talon Wolfe? Isn't he that hermit that lives across the Jundland Wastes?

As the dark hooded figure turns, he hands you a dusty wooden chest. "What's this?" you ask as you take it. In the dim light of the spartan living quarters, the tall hermit looks at you intently. "It's something your GM wanted you to have."

"You knew my GM?" you ask incredulously as you open the chest.

"Yes. We both served behind the Screen during a campaign long ago. He was betrayed, by one who turned to the dark side..."

You open the chest, and pull out a book. On its cover is the frightening image of the dread Sith Lord Darth Vader. Your hands begin to tremble as you read the words: STAR WARS ROLEPLAYING GAME, SAGA EDITION

"I-I didn't know this existed!" you stammer.

"It didn't exist, until May 22nd of this year. Take it. Read it. You are to learn the ways of Game Mastering, and become a GM like the one who GMed you."

You flip through the pages of the book, amazed that the rules are now updated, make more sense, and reflect all six movies.

"Yes," you mumble as you read and browse. "I will be a great GM, and then I will avenge my old GM's death- I will find the evil one who betrayed him." Even as your excitement mounts at the prospect of the future, you sense a tremor in the force. You look up only to see that Talon's hood is now down, revealing his twisted, sinister and dark countenance. His eyes glint with dark intensity as he pierces you with his gaze, in a low growl he utters, "Great GM? Oh yes, you will become that- I foresee it... but you will not avenge your old GM's death, no.... you will join him! I am your former GM!!" Your mind reels- you thought your old GM had died, fallen off the rim of the galaxy, never to GM again. Now you realize that he stands before you, twisted with the sinster power of the Dark Side!

Your old GM looks at you with a horrible smile beginning to emerge on his face. "Soon you will know the power of the Dark Side!" He breaks out in maniacal insane laughter as blue lightning begins to coruscate around the 20 sided dice he holds in his hands...

I tracked down a Barnes and Noble that had it and the girl said if I want to I can pick it up today...So, soon it will be mine....my precious.

I received a text from him this morning and he had not yet been able to obtain a copy. Although that was almost 8 hours ago so taht could have changed.

 

I ordered mine through walmart.com and it says today is the delivery date. yay!!!! I want to play. If you guys get a group going on the sometime on the weekends, somewhere close to the nw part of the valley, I want in.

 

We'll do our best to keep you posted about what's going to be going on with a game if there will be one. Northwest side of town might be hard to pull off but we'll see.
