Hey... what types of characters do people want to play? We'll probably have to have some discussion to avoid overlap at some point right?

(and no Jedi Droids... or Chiss... or Noghri... )

Like I stated, I made a Trandoshan Scout but I am not to "into" him. I'll probably switch back to my original idea of a Gammorean..either fringer or soldier..Basically a big brute of few words.
Either one is probably going to head towards bounty hunter or some type of gun for hire.
I figure once a couple of us get together( at least to roll up our first characters) I'll decide for sure.
(I might be meeting with Cailinn and Venom the weekend after hudson vally, to discuss our plans with it..Venom is probably going to be GM)
Anyone have questions let me know(email or here) I'll also be home all day tomorrow if anyone is around.

 

The thoughts I've been having are special forces operative (damn Wraiths got in my head ), tech specialist (so sad there are no Verpines), or (of course) a Jedi Guardian...

 

I had thought about the tech spec. too. The only thing I am sure of is that I do not want to bee Human, Zabrek, Twilek, or a Jedi(figure we'll get enuff of those)

 

If you let me know the dates - I would like to join up with you guys sometime also.

I have the books, and several companion books to. I have played Games that happen, prior to the SW:ANH timeframe.

I'm hoping that within the next two weeks to have some solid ideas down. I should be meeting up with Venom and Cailinn next weekend to try and figure some stuff out.

I'm waiting to hear back from Cailin and Venom about getting together so we can get something put together and scheduale some games then..

 

I just want to reiterate my interest in playing. I've been a Star Wars RPG GM for so long I've almost forgotten what being a player feels like...

 

Well anyone interested in getting together on friday 6/14 during the day, let me know. We can get some characters rolled up at least. I am going to take my hand at putting an adventure together and worse case I have a few premade ones in the gamers magazines and will be buying the Naboo one as well

Weekdays are always impossible for me due to work (darn 9 am - 6 pm jobs!) but any weekend days (when scheduled in advance) and most weekday nights should be fine...

 

Venom, Cailinn hasn't gotten back to me since before the Hudson Valley thing. Figured you guys got tied up. I wanted to get some stuff started before people start losing interest.
Weekends are ok for me at night. If Aysa and I don't plan anything..maybe some can get up here then or even in the city since I work til 6pm downtown.
I'm still open for anyone n friday daytime..not sure of night this week.

 

I might be free Fri. 6/14. I am usually free on fridays. Can you keep me posted too.

 

how r sat. afternoon or sun. afternoon....they would b better then fri. during the day i get out of work at 6 then go to eather play d&d or swrpg...

 

Saturday and Sunday during the day are hardly ever good for me, I work til around 6 on saturday and around 3 or 4 on sunday.
I am usually off on thursday and friday(except this week its tuesday instead of thursday since I am going to see Korn tonight)
The evenings on the weekends should be good for me though, and I'm always open for anyone who gets the time on a friday.

 

well i do agree with u that we need to start this soon.....all dayz but thrisday and friday r good for me....lets get this rolling......

 

Maybe looks like Saturday nights might sound like a good time. Or sunday late afternoon to early evening.

 

Weekends are better for me since I do not get off work till 7:30 pm

Saturday nights would likely be perfect for me as it would not interfere ever with my Saturday day games of Rifts...
