12th. $35,772 -12.8% (dropped from 10 to 8 screens)

14th. $21,364 -17%

So, use those figures to work something out. I think $50k wouldn't have a hope.

Owen Wilson is pretty ugly for a movie star.

 

I wonder why TTT did so much worse this week than last.

From here on out

20% weekly drop = $342 million
45% weekly drop = $325 million

The Oscar nominations next week could influence the outcome too.

 

I was wondering the same thing. And it is dropping another 400 some screens this weekend. We may see a drop in the low 40s or high 30s. (or it may make a huge rebound on Friday, who knows?)

I do think that Oscar nominations on Feb 11 will but TTT drop back into the low 30s or high 20s for the following weekend. Unless it loses do many screens due to Daredevil that it cripples it.

 

Here I'm again...finally...it's been far too long...

And the first thing that I see when I came back from my computer crash is that Jacko Wacko and his son didn't liked AOTC...but hey they did like TPM...Hmmm...maybe is because Anakin was a little boy in TPM... So there it is...the missing link of why Anakin turned to the dark side, he spend a weekend in Jackos Neverland Ranch's bed... Pervert...

By the way congratulations to all LOTR fans for TTT's performance...

TTT made $320,897. It's had bad Mon-Thurs before and recovered at the weekend, so we'll have to see what it does for Friday first. I think the magic number will be about 850k, that's the 30% drop area.

AOTC:TIE Thursday take...

Again, that would be a good enough total, but it's even better considering it was on only 1 screen again. AOTC:TIE has taken big hits to its screen counts this week, but has managed to hold up there thanks to its best Mon-Thu per-screen averages for at least a month, maybe two.

Alright, let's take a look at the BOM figures...

1. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days $8,075,000
2. Shanghai Knights $6,200,000
3. Chicago $2,975,000

TTT isn't in the top 10, as denseyjedi said, so that means two things:

- It'll need to get back into the top 10 for Saturday and/or Sunday for us to see anything before Monday. TTT has had strong Saturdays and (especially) Sundays before, so they could be good enough to get it back in the Top Ten again.
- At best, the estimate for TTT's Friday take is less than 795k. It made around $1.22m last Friday.

Nothing for AOTC:TIE until Monday, naturally.

Too late for HTLAGITD, ah well
