    Star Wars: Seizing Control

At the start of the Clone War, the Miraluka Jedi Knight Noah Merrn did not believe it was the Jedi way to own an army and fight in a war. He stretched his beliefs around the order and many agreed.

Together, they formed a plan and departed from the order, taking a bunch of Jedi things with them (crystals, holocrons, etc). There were a few younglings and six Jedi knights that accompanied Noah. They all believed the order had failed and the Republic was corrupted. They did not exile themselves, instead, they established a Jedi Praxeum on Sluis Van.

Their goal was to recreate the lost Jedi way, digging up long forgotten lore. They would pass on ancient Jedi teachings and add a little flavor. Many were denied the teachings and entry to the temple either because of their sensitivity or attachments. The sixteen that had been accepted were trained after the two year construction of the Temple.

Noah was found worthy of having the rank of master and he found his knights worthy of having the title as well. They named themselves Jedi masters and created the Praxeum's first Jedi council. They would restore peace to the galaxy, but their Temple needed a structure. Their structure would be nothing like the old order they once knew.

The Padawan and master system was thrown out after discussion. It led to attachment. They wanted many students competing against one another and proving themselves to earn ranks. Nobody would have a master. The mission system would also be different. They would have students do things around the planet, instead of leaving.

The Praxeum disconnected from the outside galaxy after the war had erupted. They didn't have to fight in the war, it was brought to them. They let CIS take Sluis Van. The Jedi wanted no harm or conflict to come to their newly constructed Temple hidden behind the mountains. So they made a new rule, missions would involve freeing and protecting villages as long as the Temple remained hidden. Waterfalls and rocks shielded the Temple from prying eyes.

Technology was a distraction for a Jedi. Somehow they still made use of stolen portable communicators and space craft. Skills of all kinds flooded the Temple and with years of experience it flourished greatly. It turned out to be a huge success. Every Jedi student worked alone. There was no dark side falls or banishments. The council believed attachment was one of the biggest failures of Coruscant Jedi. The Praxeum avoided attachment at all cost and it was the reason behind its success.

Age wasn't a problem. You didn't have to be a certain age. Any age was welcomed into the Sluis Van Temple. Many adults and teens were students. Over the years, they gathered enough students who proved their worth slightly. Those Jedi were delivered the rank of Padawan.

The Jedi kept one small rule from the Coruscant order, the padawan braid, all padawan's had to wear one. The Praxeum Council believed it to be a style. All of the padawan's tied their braids and created their lightsabers. A new order and a new breed of Jedi were born.

They were trained for several years and were no way similiar to their predecessors. These were the Jedi who actually stood by their code and would try to bring peace to the galaxy. However, peace never lasts long...

10 BBY, The Clone War had all but crippled the galaxy. The Empire had been busy repairing and building. Maintaining order had been difficult, but they had learned to adjust. The Clones had received new armor and have become more brutal then their originals. Most of the old clones had been killed. The ones that serve the Empire now are fresh batches.

The Praxeum knew nothing of the events that transpired in the galaxy. They wanted nothing to do with the war.

Sluis Van being in the Outer-rim, the Emperor never discovered the Praxeum. After years of claiming the planet, the clones recently came across a Jedi. It was all thanks to Grandmaster Noah who sensed a disturbance and went to investigate.

Noah was apprehended by a few

Well, it is certainly a good read.

    Good luck with this.

Why not pop into RPF Adoptions, to tell us about your game? Can't hurt.
