It is the time of the Republic. A new Supreme Chancellor, SUPREME CHANCELLOR DATHE has been elected to head the Republic in these dire times. The Empire as well as the Sith grow stronger every day. Countless amounts of soldiers and mercenaries are recruited by the Republic and Sith who are then slaughtered in combat against these groups. The Jedi Council try to hold back the Sith threat, although they seem to be progressing all too slowly...

Because of countless attacks on trade ships by the Sith, import and export prices have tripled, and only those with connections to the Empire can breach the Sith blockade...

:::RP RULES:::
1. All RPF Rules apply.
2. Create interesting characters. This adds some flavor to the Star Wars universe I have provided for this RP.
3. If you play a Jedi to simply wield a lightsaber and control the force, then please consider another character type, or at least ask yourself ?Would this type of character still be interesting to play without the lightsaber and the force?? If the answer is no, then a Jedi character isn?t for you...
4. No God-Modding.
5. Keep OOC chatting to a minimum and please roleplay often.
6. This is a serious RP, although in game jokes are allowed.
7. Have fun. Every RP has a chance to be fun, and if the GM has come up with a fun idea, then try and fuel his imagination with interesting characters with interesting background stories.

I will start the RP when I have FOUR starting Player Characters. I myself will be playing all of the NPC?s as well as the GM.

Name: Zellions Dragon

Species: Human
Class: (I would like to add a class if that is alright) Bounty Hunter
Appearance: Corin wears usually a black jump suit, primed for his own stealth. He wears a armor above it very similar to Boba Fetts, however with afew different details. His armor sacrafices fire power and instead is equipped for more speed. His main weapon is a pair of gloves he wares which on the ends extends his fingers to a foot in length each, every finger a razor sharp blade. This is alos another reason he sacrifices strength to be able to fight close range. These claws are able to deflect blaster shots. Despite this weapon he does posses duel blasters.

Personality: He is very calm and rational, however does not easily start to like people
Background: As a child Zell was bery different. He was one of the kids that always took the risky chances and tried stupid things. However one day he did something he regrets still today. While playing around in the market with his mother and friends, he walked up to a booth with a blaster on it. His friends dared him to take it but he didnt want to. Giving into pressure though he did. As they all were shocked he accidently pulled the trigger, killing a nearbye boy. Unfortanetly, that boy was the son of one of the most powerful crim lords on Tatooine. His mother, father, and sisters were all killed that night while he hid in a bar inside the city. Ever since that day he has wanted revenge.
Goals: Revenge, he does not see himself as part of the war between the Jedi and the Sith in anyway, just a mercenary

(sorry, I didnt explain something, his real name is Zell but he doesnt go by that, only his parents and family called him that. Now his bounty hunter name is Corin O'Cwall)

 

Great Character. Basically, the bounty hunter in the Pen-and-Paper starwars roleplaying game is a prestige class. But since your character is basically a fighting/stealth character, I would reccomend that your character is very similar to the scout and soldier classes. Thanks again for participating.

Species: Wookie

Class: Soldier-Scoundrel

Appearance: He is a tall and lean rugged whiphid. He has dirty brown fur all over and he has very sturdy tusks. His left one is cracked, a scar he wears proudly. He also has a moonshape scar of his right arm, another war mark. He wears a old robe with a hoody around his neck and shoulders. Around his neck he has a brown coated necklace, from his people. Around the waist he wears another robe held up by his utility belt, with his many supplies.

Height: 2.2 meters

Weight: 315 lbs.

Personality: He is very straight forward. He hardly ever jokes around, and is very serious. He can be intimidating, but even with all this he is also very friendly. He hides this by putting on a tough act which works!

Background: He was born on Kashyyyk. Wookie homeworld. He was raised there at a youg age, but then his family was killed by a bounty hunter. He seeked revenge by following him as best as he could. He came to republic space, and joined the army. He was trained for many years, and over time he wanted to be the best. He later went on his own adventure, traveling the universe. He stole many things, including speeders, credits, and sometimes very valuable weapons.

Goals: His goals are to be one of the best known smugglers, and to be a general of the Republic, for he is currently an elite.Kind of a "Bad cop."

Name: Oden Thane

Age: unknown

Species: Human

Class: Force Adept

Appearance: Oden Thane, an agile but aged man, dwells in a scar-laden body, worn and beaten from his tour served in the Clone Wars under the wise rule of the Jedi Order. He wears his tattered battle fatigues, and ammo-belts. His look is very hardened, and it is clear that he is a son of war. The sides of his face are tatooed with his rank-insignias and his eyes have turned an awful pale-white from a chemical attack he survived in a late battle. He carries two lightsabers, but fights with the traditional one for the most part.

Height: 6'7

Weight: 210

Personality: Calm.

Background: Oden Thane was a knight of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. He fought alongside General Kenobi in the fourth Gunship division. The war was hard-fought, and Oden traveled many worlds only to find battle-oppressed peoples and decaying races, tarnished forever by the Seperatist attacks. In an encounter with the mighty Count Dooku, Oden lost both of his legs and his right arm. They were later replaced with potent, android replicas. This was not the only time Oden faced a life-threatening toll in the war. In an chemical atack on the Republic outpost on the liberated Dantooine, Oden was further disfigured, and was striken blind. His sight later returned in a confrontation in the final battle of the War, in time to see the commander of the Seperatist military, General Greivous slay several of his Jedi platoon's finest. Once the war ended, Oden fleed to the Outer Rim, where he hid on Tatooine as an outsider. A "wizard of Mos Eisly".

Goals: To undertake a pupil and train him in the arts of the Jedi, then take on the Empire. Alone.

He is a blood-lust and a true rogue. The Jedi Order once played a role in his life, but he abandoned them shortly before they were labled traitors to the New Order of Palpatine.

I guess we can start now. Just to get the game going...

...You're in the Mos Eisley spaceport Cantina on Tatooine. The place is pretty, busy for a weekday afternoon, though its packed to capacity. You see all types of alien species congregating about the entire cantina. Among those, you notice each other. Please describe and introduce yourselves to each other.

 

IC: Koran, Mos Eisley Cantina

- Koran looks around. He sees the bartender opening up the bar. Koran walks over there, to get himself a drink. Already sitting down he sees a Bounty hunter, who was also there for a drink. Koran sits beside him.*

"Bartender, I'll take some Tarisian Ale, thanks." Koran told the bartender.

" On a break, bounty hunter?" He asked the bounty hunter.

OOC: Just as a question, ZEDD-VEGA, who is your character? Also CORIN, dont forget, Im a wookie.

 

IC Corin O'Cwall Cantina

Corin turned to the man, a drink in his hand. "I certanily wish, Im here on a job", he said taking a sip of his drink. Corin was wearing a large leather trench coat that covered his whole body except for his head, underneath it of course was his armor. His claws were able to detract, making his hands seem normal at the time.

 

You've met each other, but you take notice of a large screen behind the bar that shows the Trade Embassy on Naboo holding a hearing.

"I am sorry, but our ruling is final... trade will continue despite the Sith attacks."

You recognize the Quarren Ambassador ruling over this case with his comrades. He is Ambassador Borun Call.

"Ambassador! Please, I implore you to reconsider! We must stop trade until the Sith are dealt with!"

Also, you notice three Trade Corporation owners standing before this case, a human male, a human female and a Gran male. Their names escape you, but you feel it is no matter. They leave the Trade Embassy as the feed from the hearing closes.

 

Oden is seated in the far corner of the bar, cloaked in the dark as to avoid any social situation. He observes the crowd as he is used to doing each day, hoping to find the one he waits for. Hoping to find a student. He sips his Fathian Ail slowly, looks to the bar, then returns to his drink.

Oden watches the screen, studying it carefully.

"Fools."

 

IC Corin O'Cwall

Corin looked up from his drink at the televsion, watching the debate which took place. He smiled and shook his head, the problems with the commitee, oh well, he didnt care. Corins biggest attitude was that if it didnt affect him, he didnt care. Suddenly a small beep went off as the small panel on his arm went off. Looking down on it he saw that the tracer which was on his client was very close. Turning from the bar he saw his target walking along in the crowd. It was a wookie man, wanted by a husband for the murder of his wife. Corin didnt ask why, it was money. He moved through the crowd like a shadow to the back of the Wookie, reaching down and throwing his cloak off as his armor was now visible, the dominating color black. On his legs were two compact blasters, both had the same power of a normal one, but these could get through detectors and were hard to notice. Reaching down he grabbed one and aimed up, firing twice and hitting the Wookie in the back of each leg, tearing through his muscle as the creature screamed and fell to the ground, his strong arms trying to grab at the air.

 

IC: Koran Jerius, Mos Eisley Cantina

-Koran saw the screen. He listened and saw what was happening. He though to himself //Ah, a good chance for smuggling. They trade, and when the sith attack, I steal. Hmmm, what a good chance,// Koran then stood up and saw the bounty hunter leave his seat. He then saw another wookie step into the cantina, and saw the hunter gun him down. Koran was amazed at the sight. Koran then out of anger roared and ran towards where the bounty hunter was. He there confronted him.*

"Why do you gun down one of my people?!!?" Koran asked the hunter furiously. "Answer me bounty hunter, have you quarrel with the wookies?" He asked again infurated.

IC Corin O'Cwall, Cantina

Corin looked at the man, slightly suprised that he had jumped up so fast and ran over to comfront him. Corin shook his head and looked at the person. "I am a bounty hunter, I have quarrel with this wookie", he said walking past the man. He approached the fallen victim, the wookie flailing his arms, trying to grab Corin as it screamed curse words in its language. Corin watched him for several moments. Then brought his gun up, "Rest now", he said silently, firing the last shot inbetween the wookies eyes as his arms ceased to move, his entire figure turning limp.

 

IC: Koran , Mos Eisley Cantina

-Koran was furious for a few moments, but then he calmed down and went back to his chair. He ordered a few more drinks. He then stood up gathered his things, and stepped out of the cantina into the dance hall, for some entertainment. Koran then began to fall into a trance, sort of sleeping, to calm down and be relaxed.*

OOC: I like this character rivalry already. Maybe the Force Adept can supply some assistance...

As Koran calms himself after the attack on the wookiee, an Adarian bounty hunter and his tech-specialist companion begin conversing.

"I heard that the Empire will be sending down patrols on each of the trade route planets to ensure that no one can smuggle anything out. They won't let any ship leave these worlds for anything. I might have to sign on with the Empire or the Hutts... either way, I can get off this desert rock."

 

IC Corin O'Cwall

Corin watched the wookie which had spoken to him previously begin to leave, happy about that at least. He didnt want to have to kill somebody without a good reason. It was suprisingly hippocritical of him, considering he had killed tons of people without a good reason, just people caught in the crossfire as far as he was concerened. As he put away his gun he reached into the wookies pocket and pulled out and money he had along with a small ring. It was the wedding ring that the women wore that he had murdered. He tossed it up into the air and then caught it. hearing a conversation going on which interested him. He stood and moved through the crowd again, seeming to dissapear in the midst of people as he was suddenly next to the group that was talking. He heard the words about the planet being closed and emmideatly didnt believe it. "All of them closed", he thought. He would believe it when he saw it. Turning he left the cantina quickly, heading for the nearbye docking bay where his ship was.
