Anyone know of any Star Wars songs? Like Weird Al had "The Saga Begins" and "Yoda" and i found one by green jelly called "Chewbacca" anyone know of any other star wars songs?
The Saga Begins by Wierd Al...I really love that one. Anyway there's a TON of songs floating around on P2P programs or whatnot. Wierd Al also did a parody of Barry Manilow's "Copa Cabana" and it's entitled "Star Wars Cantina". There's also a "Star Wars Gangsta Rap" which is hilarious. Can't think of any others at the moment, most of the other SW mp3's I have are jokes/skits, most of which are of the lewd/crude variety
I'm the proud owner of the SW christmas album...wrap my presents to it every year. "What do you get a Wookiee for Christmas" (if he already has a comb?)
yeah! star wars "ganster rap" is awesome! they remade the video and its on atomfilms.com and its even better than the first one by far! it looks a ton better!, im going to have to try to look for the "Star Wars Cantina" that one sounds awesome. you should try to find the "Chewbacca-(what a wookiee)" By green jelly. its funny. ************************************* Thats so cool you have the Star Wars Christmas album, i went to buy it and i found that it was like 80 bucks... atleast when i went and looked. thanks you guys for the input!
Moffy burnt me a copy of the Christmas Album and gave it to me for Christmas this year. How about Princess Leia by Blink-182? *looks in "Star Wars" file on the computer... then there's a lot of Techno. Livin' La Vida Yoda--I don't know who it's by, but supposedly Weird Al Gwen Stefani did the Imperial March (as a little clip)
Yeah i believe i "had" the Imperial march from Gwen. but i lost it somewhere down the line. But i do want to get the livin la vida yoda one hehe
Lessee what I've got on my iTunes playlist... Imperial March (Rage Mix) Star Wars- Moosebutter Star Wars Cantina Yoda- Weird Al The Saga Begins- Weird Al My Name is Darth Vader- Weird Al I also used to have an mp3 of "Stay on Target... Almost There" which I have long since lost. The Moosebutter one is great- it's an a capella group, and they sing a song about Star Wars using entirely John Williams themes. Indiana Jones, Superman, E.T., Jaws, and Jurassic Park, to be precise. It's freaking brilliant.
Gwen Stefani...doing the Imperial March? Oh man, she needs to dump Gavin Rossdale and hook up with me...yum.
I know that metallica did a cover version of the imperial march and I have heard it and it is awesome. I was wonder ing if someone has it can they send it me to download, please thanks.
You mean this one? http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Media/Metallica-March.mp3 Just listened to it myself, pretty sweet!
You beat me to it Krash,That was the song i was gunna post..When i was a kid that part of the record got the bantha poodoo played out of it and my mom admitted (recently) to intentionally depriving us of it..so for old times sake..What do you get a wookie for christmas...la la la
While not a Star Wars song, I'm happy because Eminem has finally made a Star Wars reference on his new album Encore in the song "Rain Man": I say you're all just too *** **** sensitive It's censorship and it's downright blasphemous Let's end this **** now cause I won't stand for this And Christopher Reeves won't sit for this neither And let's clear this up too I ain't got no beef with him either He used to be like a hero to me I even believe I had one of those 25 cent stickers on my refrigerator Right next to Darth Vader And Darth must have put a hex on him for later I feel like its my fault cause of the way that I stuck him off in between him and Lex Luther I killed Superman I killed Super... Man And how ironic that I'd be the bad guy, Kryptonite The green chronic
not sure where your from. but i'm from ohio and there is this comedy bit on a talk show called Bob and Tom on the radio in the morning and it talks about how this husband would rather watch Star Wars than have sex with his wife....pretty funny. You might be able to get from there web site
yeah im from the Akron area, Bob and Tom on Rock 107 yeah i usually listen to that or the buzzard on my way home from work every morning.
cool nice to see another local star wars freak. Then you must have heard that on the radio. I about lost it when i heard it
I used to go to Kent State, listened to 107 all the time. Chad Bishop was part of my weekly sports show "TV2 SportsCorner" back when we all lived at Holly Park! I did an interview on the radio, back when we were at that Wal-Mart grand opening with Ohio Garrison, can't remember who the DJ was at the event...wasn't Chad.
thats pretty cool, im not sure who is all there now, i havent really listened to them except in the mornings for bob and tom, i do miss the short guys in the morning though they were funny. My friend andy used to be an intern there and would be on the air with Nick from 9-midnight so thats pretty cool!
