Well, another new Star Wars Ch 5 logo is spotted. It's a small Death Star Landing Bay with 4-5 TIE Fighters flying away. Then the landing bay swirls and a Ch 5 logo appear!

Now we have 3 logos liao!

Keep it up, Ch 5!

 

So far I have only seen X-Wing, but it's a milestone for Channel 5 already...

 

Yeah me too, I've only seen the X-wing one, and have yet to see those 5 mins previews..

 

I think I've seen all, either on TV or on the bus. The 5 minute preview was the same one shown when they are gonna show TPM last time, where GL talks about redoing the OT. Pretty short.

The one you mentioned is kinda short, but the one I saw was definitely longer, and contains more than just GL talking.
It is like a section in itself called Quick Shots, and it's usually shown really late at night in-between the TV shows.

Second I'm not too fond of ANH. I think the duel sux. But I like the Jawas though.

They just showed it again tonight, not the exact same thing as what I saw the other night, but tonight's clips were pretty OK too

It was shown around 12.30am, a little past midnight, and it wasn't the Quick Shots section, just some stuff that they showed in-between the movie Silent Predators and Boston Public.

Today, they showed the clip of Han Solo talking to Jabba the Hutt at the Millenium Falcon Hangar, and told of how they did the special effects for that scene, in order to blend the old footage with the new CGI-created Jabba character and inserted the new scene into the Special Edition version of ANH.

They also showed some really old 1970s footage of George and the crew as they were filming the OT movies, but it was like really quite brief.

Still, I got all excited when it was shown on the TV screen - heck, then again, anything Star Wars on my TV screen would get the same reaction from me - haha!

 

Man! It sounded like part of one of those documantaries I had recorded some time ago about the whole SE thining. But can't remember in which tape cause I seldom label them or put all SW documtaries into 1 tape.

 

Haha if only somebody had taped them, then maybe I could watch it.

Nothing. Tonight's ANH IS the SE mod.

 

I saw bit and pieces of it as I was in a restaurant just now... but those little snippets Ch 5 played before and after the commercials are damn cool!
