At least it's not Shia.
I am sure if Disney brush him up, I am more than sure he is our Indiana Jones and Han Solo!
Very good choice! Wow!
Garrett Hedlund is another option.
I see someone did a little thread combining, eh?
Regarding that video...I don't know...
Being able to pull off an impression is one thing, being able to act and portray a certain character is something totally different. I'd need to see more than him regurgitating famous Ford lines.
I agree, although I've liked none of the "real actor" choices that I've seen so far. I don't like imagining anyone other than Harrison Ford playing the role, hence why, if a movie has to be made, the possibility having someone who looks and talks a lot like him is more appealing, heh. But yeah, he needs to show that he can act like Solo outside of impersonations.
It's either that or do some Tron Legacy Jeff Bridges-esque CGI mojo.
I don't know if I'd rerally like to see Lando Calrissian playing the role of a young Han Solo. Maybe it's just me.

I could definitely imagine ILM and all being interested in using the opportunity to exhibit that technology. I can also imagine Harrison Ford responding to that pitch by saying "Come on, are you kidding me? Just get a new young guy to play the part."

Not keen on the idea of a Han Solo spin-off. As I've never been a Boba Fett groupie, that idea doesn't particularly excite me either. I'd watch them, though. Somebody else mentioned the possibility that new characters introduced during the ST might be the basis for some spin-offs. Depending on the characters, that could work well.
However, I still say that we need a Jedi Purge era Vader spin-off more than anything else. Being a non-episode part of the saga, something like that needn't interfere with the Skywalker story arc. OK, it would be Anakin (as Vader) hunting and killing Jedi, but it wouldn't change the story as told in Episodes I-VI and beyond. I'd happily see James Luceno's "Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader" adapted for the screen for a Vader spin-off.

I think you've probably captured Harrison Ford's response to any such proposal perfectly.
Good God, man, just what, exactly, have you been smoking?
he nails it again, see starting at 0:32
Hey, I'm not one for fancasting, but stranger things have happened.
Sorry I shouldn't have been so rash as to misinterpret you're comment as ''EU bashing'', and yes maybe the Star Wars universe can tolerate different stories that may or may not add up. But it's ultimately up to Disney and Lucasfilm what direction they wan't to go with the franchise, not what direction us fans wan't it to go. So lets just wait and see what the future has in store for Star Wars. Whatever happens... happens!!
The voice is okay. The likeness is okay. However, this kid has Ford's smirks and quirks DOWN. With proper coaching, I think he could pull off Solo like Brolin pulled off Agent K.
X-Wing movies...and Timonthy Zahn!
Johnny Depp should just play both Han and Chewie. He's an up-and-coming actor right?
I think Kit Harington would be someone to look at for the role. He is proven/proving he is a good actor.
I like Kit Harington for the role. And anyone who has seen Game of Thrones can tell you he is a good actor.
I support it.
Naaaah. He looks better for a young Chewbacca
Btw, how are they going to present young Chewbacca?
Is he going to have a pony tail or something? He cant look the same.
He wears a Hello Kitty Bag!
Im in for Emile Hirsch
He looked the same in ROTS. I don't see why a young Han Solo film would be any different.
What about young Lando Calrissian? (Maybe some pre-mustache Lando)
NO TIMOTHY ZAHN!!!!!!!!!!!!
