Well, seeing as there was supposed to be a Season 8 Ventress arc as well, and the book is just the Season 7 arc, she's probably going to survive.

 

Doesn't defeating people without killing them, require more skill than just killing?

Fugitive Ventress is as skilled as she was before - just more willing to Knock Unconscious.

 

She went soft and sloppy. Looks like by that time she just wanted freedom from prosecution by the Republic so she could do what she wanted without hassle. Whether nor not she stopping killing altogether, we dont know. Am curious whether they kill off Vos or Ventress in the book, they'll be going up against Tyranus and Grievous. I would prefer Ventress becoming Maul's apprentice, but if the two of them joined forces the OT wouldve never happened, heh. Probably why she was oddly absent during Talzin's resurrection of Maul.

 

I'm doubting she'll die in the novel, and I think it was Talzin's intent for Ventress to leave Dathomir and survive. The animatic shows her returning to the planet, which means her connection to the Nightsisters may not be over. They protected her from Dooku and restored her power, so her loyalty should be with whatever remains of the clan, and Talzin's son, Maul. They'd make a great pairing.

 

Animatic? I haven't heard of this. Where did you find this out?

Also, I don't think Maul and Ventress would get along. They dueled in 'Revenge' and she rejected Savage when fighting Dooku.

 

You can see some of the animatic on the SW website, it's part of the Clone Wars Legacy video. It shows Ventress and Vos on Dathomir.

 

The clips they showed look amazing! Dathomir, some kind of worm, Ventress with hair, acting like a spy, infiltrating a ball with Dooku, a yellow lightsaber, Grievous! Why was this cancelled!?

In the part where Ventress and Vos are looking at some kind of worm, you can see the Dathomir nightsister temple in the background.

Not sure I recall the worm. I think the snake worm thing was her shoulder marking and some kinda neck torc thing she uses as a necklace at the ballroom.

 

I wonder if that is simply a snake or if it's a Nightsister that used magick to transform, as Charal did in the movie 'Battle for Endor'.

 

Man and this was cancelled for rebels....joy.

 

I just re watched Brothers, and during the opening the announcer states that Talzin is Savage's 'Creator'. Whether this refers to her being his mother, or to the ritual seen in Monster, is not clear.
