You may have one trooper so far for Thur, Eddie 501st ID: TK-443 He says he'll should have his TD ready.

My troopers will be there Sat evening for the shows between 6-10pm. I should have a table inside with flyers and stuff. Door greeters and ticket takers. Possibly a costume contest and a raffle. You guys are welcome to join if you don't mind hanging with Imps. I'm gonnna try for tickets for my volunteers too. Hint, Hint ; )

Ain't that the truth!!!! You 'bad guys' have always been a lot of fun and a terrific group to hang with!!

 

99 cent stores has 20" ROTS blow-up beach balls. We need to be well supplied as security can get a little greedy with our balls! I really hate when that happens!! I bought 5 of them today. If anybody has to do any shopping by one of those stores, please stop in and pick up a few for opening night!

Mike, what's the update on this with the theater? The 501st is doing an event there on Friday the 16th and would like our help to wrangle. Are any plans in motion for our midnight show?

 

I'm following up with Glen as well as Steve at the movies on monday. I've PM Glen and awaiting his reply. As soon as I talk with both, i'll be sure to post as this will be kinda cool for us to attend (even more credibility...not that we need any more)

 

Spoke with Steve at Edwards today and got some info for our little shin dig on august 15th. I'm calling Glen from the 501st this weekend and will post what I believe is the plan with all who wish to participate.

I did get a phone call from Mike, unfortunately I was unable to answer it. Here was my responce to his call.


Hey Mike.

Got you message this morning before heading out to Moreno Valley. We, the 501st, are not doing the opening Thur night midnight showing, but the opening day, Friday Aug 15 from 6pm to 10pm. The reason I have not posted anything yet on your boards is because Steve at the theatre is a damn pain to get ahold of. I've talk to him twice already about contacting me and have recieved nothing. I planned on having ticket takers and door greeters to the theatre plus the usual suspects outside entertaining the crowd. He also wanted to do a raffle, I have prizes even. If you talk to him or see him give him my email and kick him in the shins for me. ; ) I have less than two weeks to organize this.
