Anything yet about a patch for the "no-text" glitch in the X360 version?
(cough) especially since the books are better than the movies (cough)
The first DLC Pack is LIVE!
It has 7 skins (sucks they're just skins, but I'll still get them). Obi-Wan (III), Luke (VI), Anakin (III), Darth Sion, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, Imperial Commando and 3 new costumes for the apprentice (General Starkiller, Sith Assassin and Hooded Combat Gear), for 400MS points.
A patch is also available!
Is this patch for XBox 360, and does the patch address the Default Text Glitch?
Both the 360 and the PS3. I haven't downloaded the patch yet, but I never got the default text glitch myself anyway, but I read that it does fix it.
YOU NEVER GOT THE GLITCH!? Are you 360 or PS3? If you're 360... <goes off cursing a blue streak>
STILL no Vader
But Anakin will suffice.
Sion?!? That's pretty cool!
I may buy this to give hope for a future Revan skin...
Sion looks like he's on steroids. Looks quite a bit different from KOTOR2. Still nice though. And perfect for this game.
Really like Fisto though. I played through the raxis prime level as him. Quite fun.
I'm not interested in the skins, but the new costumes - if I download this pack, will these costumes become available for me as a I play the game, or are they multiplayer exclusives.
BTW, I went to set up my account, and I did two downloads. When I went to play the game, I started on the second Kashyyyk level, and I didn't get the Default Text glitch. So I guess I don't need to get the DLC pack then.
The patch is free.
If you download the pack, the costumes will be immediately available once you start the game and change your costume.
Okay, then. Right now, I want to start the game over fresh and see if I can go all the way through without encountering the glitch. If I can, then I'll consider the new costumes. But the costumes aren't exactly top priority for me.
does antone have an image of
Hooded Combat Robe[/li]
I just downloaded this new addon. But there could be some problem since I can't see the costumes anywere. I mean, I tried a savegame I had first will all costumes unlocked. No Luke or Sion. then I thought: "probably need to restart the whole story" so I did the boring Vader level then when I got the costuming section with Starkiller, nothing.
I did get patch 1,02 but the costumes are none. I did try the famous "cheat codes" do you think it locked the suits for me?
Did I just waste 5 bucks?
What does the patch do?
And I also want to know what the "general starkiller" costume looks like.
Well that's the problem, no one is saying what the patch do and how the heck does this addon character pack work...
Make sure that after you downloaded it, that you install it before you play. Sometimes when I download from PS3 I forget to install it so it sits on the PS3 main menu.
The nickel and diming of NexGen owners has begun.
Minus Scion and the new StarKiller costumes...
We pay for the stuff that other consoles got for free.
The patch fixes the default text glitch (which I was fortunate enough never to encounter)
General Starkiller is an older, gritier Starkiller in a bluish uniform. This and his new sith costume are quite nice. Sion and Fisto are also great. I played Fisto on the tie factory level and tried to do it as as jedi would (no lightning). Was a fun challenge.
There's a video up on YouTube showing off all of the new costumes and characters. You can check it out [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvW7TU9dp-E]here[/link].
Ki adi Munidi, Kit fisto and Darth Sion all look amazing!!
Thanks for the tip but I wouldn't miss this. I even tried creating other accounts.
The point is, I wasted 5 dolars and see no new costumes...
To whom should I complain? LucasArts or Playstation?
I lost all my code-unlocked costumes after I did the download. And the patch was tied to a new game demo, at least on the 360.
Since it's a download issue, I would take it up with Sony, LA won't help you... even if they could.
I'll post some images when I get home.
Scion looks amazing, and the Sith assassin is cool too.
Fisto looks better than his movie counterpart.
I want a Darth Krayt costume!!!
man i wish starkiller looked like he did in sith assasin costume for the entire game
