Fegru and Proteus did not always see eye to eye, but he was far from insufferable, unlike Morell and countless other masters.

"Of course. I was about to see if you had returned, given the Holo-net broadcast. I'm leaving in the morning for Coruscant, along with any others who would join me. I was hoping you'd be among their number. But first I plan to announce my intentions to the Council this evening.

"Know this going into the meetinbg, however. Regardless of the council's approval, I will be leaving to fight in this war. And if they do forbid us from going, you can be sure that we will be unfairly compared to Revan and Malak before us. But the true path to the Dark Side would be to sit by and let terror and injustice prevail.

"Are you with me, Master Gedar?"

"I would be honored to. The Council may not approve of taking action, but to not do so would be worse than to sit and wait I agree, but do not go into this seeking to eradicate the opposition, they have their points, to destroy all who believe differently is to destroy all things. Destroy that which will destroy, preserver what will preserve, and create that which is open to creation. Speak to those who will listen, but to those who will not, either make them, or make it so they will not have to." the Kel Dor trailed off. "Anyway I have a poorly treated injury to deal with here, let's go, you can tell me more of your plans on the way, I may be able to give you some insight. As to being compared to Revan and Malak, been there doen that, still proved the Council wrong." he finished walking off toward the med center.

Karn walked the Temple halls. In all his meditation his visions were becoming darker. And now, this talk of war was only adding to his suspicions. Over hearing the conversation between the Padawan and the Master Karn decided to, listen in. All this talk of Revan, and Malak of which all he really knew was that they were darksiders, that they caused a civil war that almost destroyed the Jedi. All the bits of conversation Karn could hear, sounded like the Padawan was recruiting for something, but for what, Karn could not guess. All he could do was follow, and hope to learn more on the way.

?I knew I could count on you, Master Gedar. May the Force grant you a speedy recovery. As for me, I must consult now with my master, Wodan-Urr. He has good relations with several members of the Council, and can request an audience on our behalf this evening. In fact, the only wildcard I foresee, whose opinion could tip the council one way or the other, is the grandmaster himself. Let us meet back up at sunset outside the council chambers. Bring any supports of our cause you can find with you.?

Karn noticed the two Jedi seperate, and hesitated on which to follow. "Well, I guess it'll be better to follow the mouth than the ear." Karn said to himself, and slowly, ever so stealthly he followed the Padawan, taking note of who ever, he saw the Padawan acknowledge, noting them as possible accomplices. All would be questioned including himself undoubtedly by the Council, when he filled his report. But for now, all he could do was follow, and hope the Padawan wouldn't do anything stupid.

The Inquisitor returned to his quarters in the city to gather some traveling supplies. He re-dressed into his Ceremonial robes and packed his combat gear away into a small case.

His smooth midnight black Ceremonial robes covered the length of his body. It was ingrained with smooth purple lines of detail coursing over the surface in symmetrical patterns. The neck of his robe was open and one was privy to see a purple shirt underneath of the tunic, encircled by a silver chain with a small pendant on it. The sleeves of the tunic were cut at the shoulder, and the purple cloth underneath began to fade into black at the elbow, ending at the back of his hands, covering half of them and leaving a hole for his thumb to poke through.

Shane took the second of his prized possessions from a similar case to his lightsaber. It was a talisman of sorts. A kind of metallic glove that covered the back of one hand and had chains securing a round circle to the palm of his hand. The silvery metallic glove was imbued with the Dark Side of the Force. It didn?t really make him stronger in a literal sense, but rather it made his offensive skills less draining on his reserves. He could use lightning easily without it. But with the glove, Shane could sustain it for longer periods of time.

He finished his preparations just as his comm. beeped, signaling that Ravage was nearby. He slicked back his hair quickly and pulled up his hood, plunging his facial features into shadow.

Shane walked briskly up to the landing platform of his building and waited no less than two minutes before Darth Ravage swooped in low hovered on his thrusters thrusters.

?I suppose I will be flying myself then? Shane said to himself as he looked at the modified Sith Fighter.

He turned on his heel and walked over to the sleek vessel on the pad. Like Darth Ravage, it was also a Sith Starfighter, though he had had his painted black with a red Sith Triangle on the short nose.

Shane waved his hand and the cockpit opened, seemingly of it?s own accord. He gathered the Force around his legs and leapt up into the pilot seat, tucked his traveling satchel behind the chair and sat down to strap himself in. He flicked a few switches and brought up his comm. systems as the engines warmed up.

?Well you?re ship is looking as grotesque as ever Darth Ravage. I hope you weren?t planning on doing any covert operations in that, though I suppose that really isn?t your style is it??

Shane let a bit of his condescending nature trickle into his words. It was an age old bickering between rivals that would eventually lead to a confrontation and probably one of them ending up dead. But that day was far away for the time being. Right now they were allies.

?Well then, let?s get underway, what is our destination??

Shane sat in the cockpit of his ship and hit a button to close the transparisteel around him. He crossed his arms as he waited for a response.

The Cantina that Grosh had chosen was bustling with it?s regular clientele. It was late in the afternoon and everyone had begun to congregate at their favorite watering hole. Everyone looked similar in the way that people going about their business did. No one paid Grosh any mind. He was just another off worlder in Mandalorian armor. Mercs, bounty hunters, they all stopped by Onderon at some point. The citizens of the city were used to seeing strange things.

He may have gotten a curious stare or two, but nothing lasting more than a second or so. Eventually though, Grosh might have started to feel a little awkward as he was eating the food he had ordered. Someone was watching him and he couldn?t tell who it was. There were many people in the bar that were keeping to themselves, but none of them were directing their attention to him.

There were a few possibilities. A lustful looking Twi?lek dancer girl who was luring patrons over to her with her charms. Or there was a man sitting at the bar across the room that had a direct l

IC: Grosh, some cantina on Onderon

Grosh was in the middle of a bite of food when he saw the small detail of men enter the cantina. They looked around, spotted him, and walked over to his table.

?Sir, I have to ask you to come with us. Our Captain wishes to speak with you. Certain?matters have arisen and he would like to enlist your services if at all possible. I am only here to escort you to him, not haggle so I would appreciate if you paid your bill and came with us.?

Grosh looked up at the man, and then to the armed men behind him.

"Wow. Five men to escort one lowly Mando. Ni r'ijaat," he said with a smile, dropping a credit chip on the table.

Grosh saw the confused look on the man's face. Grosh grabbed his helmet and put it under his arm.

"It means I'm honored." he said at last.

    Grosh motioned to the door.

    "After you."

He followed the man out the door, and the five armed men fell in behind Grosh. He still had an uneasy feeling as he left the cantina, but there wasn't much he could do about it at this point. He still didn't know where it was coming from.

As Grosh left the cantina, most of the eyes in the room were on him and the security team. It wasn?t often that the security forces brought that much muscle into a local place to take one man somewhere. And most of the time, the party they were looking for was escorted out in binders.

Maybe it was because they knew he was a Mandalorian and they didn?t feel properly trained in case of a combat situation. No one could tell. Even so, the eyes followed the party out in wonderment.

The group entered an alleyway near the cantina and continued on. Apparently it was a shortcut to the building that their captain was waiting. Without turning around, the lieutenant held up a hand and immediately the guards standing in front and back of Grosh had their rifles pointed at him.

?This is a safety precaution Mandalorian. The Captain was informed you might be looking for AFUS. Well here on Onderon we are pretty grateful about what the Jedi have done for our society. We are a recognized Republic planet and don?t appreciate people coming here to join a group out to start another war. That being said, I hereby place you under arrest under authority of the Residing Queen of Onderon. You will be tried and found guilty of treason against the Republic, and will be held in incarceration for the duration of the intergalactic conflict between the Force Users and AFUS organizations. Anything you say, doesn?t really matter honestly, no one is going to hear your voice for a very long time.?

The LT began walking again as one of the soldiers tried to make a grab for Grosh?s weapon. Before he got there, he dropped with a smoking hole in his chest. An instant later the crack of a fired shot met their ears.

The Lieutenant spun quickly, ripping his blaster from it?s holster and pointing it at Grosh, only to be spun by the shoulder and nailed in the chin with a right cross that send him against the alley wall. The homeless man from the cantina in the trench coat stood straight and tall, like a soldier would. He hovered over the Lieutenant in the chance he decided to get up. The remaining soldiers surrendered quickly when a group of men and women began repelling from both sides of the alley. All of them wore black jumpsuits with the red trimmed AFUS patch on both shoulders.

They relieved the guards of their weapons and lined them up against the far wall. The trench coat guy moved away from the Lieutenant and walked towards Grosh as one of his soldiers took up his position guarding the downed officer.

?My name is Captain Tarren Tolbas. I believe you were looking for us, Grosh Crander of the Nakar?tuur. These? men? were going to lock you up for a very long time to do what they should be doing. Unfortunately we cannot let them report back. Our presence on Onderon was supposed to go unnoticed. Problem is your name is already on file. So we have two options right now Mr. Mando.?

He pulled a blaster from his belt and pointed it square at Grosh?s faceplate.

?You slot these boys and we make it look like local gang action, or, you can decide to try and go your own path and we can plug you, and them and call it an early day, then I get to keep a shiny new set of mando armor. Clocks ticking, what?s it going to be??

The action in the alley happened fast, and Grosh didn't even have to fire a single shot. He was approached by the man that was sitting in the cantina, no longer looking like a common homeless person.

?You slot these boys and we make it look like local gang action, or, you can decide to try and go your own path and we can plug you, and them and call it an early day, then I get to keep a shiny new set of mando armor. Clocks ticking, what?s it going to be??

    Grosh chuckled a bit.

"I have to give it to you, Captain, nehutyc or dini'la, that means gutsy or insane, to pull your weeapon on me and think nothing will happen."

Grosh saw the man not flinching, instead squeezing the trigger ever more so.

"However, given the fact that I came looking for you, I have to assume that you aren't taking any chances in having your identities revealed. I can appreciate that."

Grosh took a step back, grabbed his blaster pistol, and quickly shot the men in the heads. It was four clean shots, taking less than a second to execute. He turned and then fired on the officer that was laying on the ground, hitting him just under his nose, killing him instantly.

"That one was more personal. I'm not a fan of people that won't fight me one on one."

Grosh holstered his blaster and looked and the Captain.

"Well, since I now know who you are, or at least who you say you are, and you know me, I guess that is all the introduction we need at this time. I look forward to seeing what AFUS has to offer, and what I can do to help out. I think I might have a slight edge on most of your... recruits, however."

The man couldn't see it, but Grosh smiled under his helmet. He walked over to the dead body of the officer and nudged it with his boot.

"Oh, one more thing Captain," Grosh said looking directly at Captain, "it's not a good idea to threaten to take a Mando's armor. We don't like that very much."

Barely finishing his sentence, Grosh punched the Captain square in the face, knocking him down, mostly because of being caught off guard. Right after hitting the man, Grosh put his hands in the air, surrendering. The weapons of the men in the alley quickly trained in on Grosh.

Grosh slowly extended his hand to the Captain.

"No hard feelings, Captian, but I do have my honor to maintain."

Darth Ravage listened to Shane's condisending remark at thought about how much he would love to plunge his saber into the sith's heart.
He sighed heavily, "another time I suppose", thought Ravage, "for now I need him". On his way to pick up his psudo-alli, he intercepted a transmition from a group of bounty hunters calling themselves "force bane". He was repulsed by the name alone, and even the thought of a group of urchins being strong enough to kill anything worthy of the force filled him with a rage so black it would blot out the sun. He snarled to himself then opened com to Shane and replied.
"We are heading to a moon just outside of Nal Hutta, known as Nar Shadda. Festering pit of worthless beggers, the slime of the universe. You will fit right in." He laughed a deep, horrible sounding laugh that had replaced his once joyous laugh. He then pulled up on the star ships controls and took off towards space. They reached space in less than 2 min, then input the Hyper drive coordinates. The estimated time frame was 8 hours. He sighed then headed off towards him meditation chamber.
He stripped off his armor and placed all 6 of his lightsabers in a circle around him and entered a dark side trance, a fine red aura flooded off of him.
He was ready for anything that should happen, the darkside was in his hands.

Fegru turned and finally made it to the medical chambers at the conclave, he proceeded to a medical droid and had his wounds tended, their expert devices mending the flesh and damaged vessels in no time. "Thank you." Fegru said to the droid, and he departed for the Council's chambers.

"Master Fell, Padawan Tan, your presence is requested by the Council, please report to the Council's chamber immediately." Fegru said through his comlink tuning it to a multiple frequency setting to contact them both simultaneously. "I will be there shortly." he added as he turned the corner to the corridor the chamber was on. 'I pray thy come here soon.' he thought knowing the Council's impatience, they would not be pleased if they were kept waiting.

Jaden nodded and went about his way. He made his way back towards a lightsaber instruction that he had been looking forward to. It was one thing that Jaden really loved about being a Jedi. He got to do something that actually made him happy. Dueling was something he was good at. He enjoyed the challenge and the absolute need to concentrate. While in a duel, nothing else mattered, it was you or the other person. Speed mattered, but if you were fast and clumsy, you would lose. Strength was needed, but if you were strong and slow you would lose. There were so many factors that played into lightsaber play that it brought a smirk to young Tide?s lips thinking about it.

He arrived at the classroom a few minutes later, only to reach out to open the door and stop short as his comm. beeped. He sighed and reached down.

    ?Padawan Tide.?

A hushed voice came to his ears, it was a close friend of his.

??Jaden.. you need to come to the Council Chambers quickly!?

?Andro what is going on? I am about to enter a lightsaber instru??

?Shut up and listen. Look, I was assigned to help clean up today because someone was complaining of dust from outside was blowing through the vents, They had me looking for a hole and it?s near the Council room, I heard them talking. I didn?t mean too. They were talking about a mission forming, and there was mention about the Sith that killed your Master, that Shane guy??

Jaden?s body froze, inside and out.

    ?I?m on my way??

Jaden made it to the Council chambers just as the other three Jedi were called inside. He tried to compose himself and straighten his robes but did little to settle his breathing as he slipped in behind the other three.

The Master?s gaze fell on him and he felt their minds moving quickly.

?Padawan Tide, you were not called before the Council, your task was to bring these individual?s here before us, you may return to your stud..?

?Shane is out there still. I am going with them.?

The Master?s looked at one another and shook their heads.

?We will address this another time, return to your classes.?

    Jaden remained firm.

?With all due respect Masters, my Master was taken from me before his time. He was not meant to fall in that battle. Shane killed him and there is a good chance that he is out there killing more Jedi. He has to be stopped!?

Valara leaned forward in his chair from the hologram.

?You are being reckless Padawan. You seek to rush to your death for revenge.?

?No, not revenge. I only wish redemption. My Master was slain when I was at his back. It is my job to bring his killer to justice so that it doesn?t happen to anyone else. I?m not going to lie and say I don?t feel the pull of the Dark Side. But I trust in my teacher?s lessons and will do all I can to redeem Shane before the final battle, should their be one. Besides, there are few out there that can match my skills with a lightsaber, it isn?t boasting, it?s a fact.?

?For your age I agree.? One of the Masters raised his voice slightly. ?Fact is, you are 16 and out for blood. The matter is closed, you are staying here.?

    Jaden crossed his arms defiantly.

    Valara sighed.

?At least there is a Master going along to regulate certain situations. And these are strange times, his skills may be needed. I am reluctant to say that I agree to him going. He might be headstrong and a bit impatient but he is strong. And right now we need strength, though not at the expense of wisdom. Do you understand young Tide??

    Jaden nodded solemnly.

    ?Thank you Master.?

Valara paused while looking at him and returned his attention to the others.

?Alright, now that that is out of the way. You all may have noticed that we have a bit of a situation on our hands. The Anti Force User Society has been making bold advances on their claims of

"Master's with all due respect, if they're hunting each other doesn't it seem kind of, oh I don't know, pointless!?" Karn argued. " With all due respect, why do we need to go looking for a fight when the opposition is willing to kill itself off, now don't get me wrong, im not about to shirk away from a fight but, I do not think this is necessary, the Darkside's pull surrounds this matter, if the council believes diplomacy has failed then what are the younglings suppose to feel? I would plead the council to remember that we're keepers of the peace not soliders, we still need the republics aid before we take the fight to the Sith. Otherwise, we going to lose more Jedi to the darkside then ever in this War, this Padawan's lust for revenge is apparant enough that the younglings are quite eager for a fight." Karn looked at Jaden. "This Sith, Shane, a doubt you could kill him if your Master himself was killed by the same darksider. One does not become weaker with age child, only stronger and angrier, trust me I know." Karn smiled at the boy. Readdressing the council Karn looked from eye to eye. "Masters, I strongly disagree with this mission for several reasons I've already stated and others such as, for one, our races, we aren't exactly the most common group of. . . travellers. We would surely draw attention to ourselves. Another is the fact that how are we supposed to find the AFUS and how are three of us A Padawan, A Knight and a Master supposed to stop a unknown number of people without getting caught or killed, I'm sorry Masters but I'm sure that if it comes to War, we are not ready, with the republic split between love and hate for the Jedi, our list of Allies grows thin." "I'm surprised Master Fell that you think this is the work of the dark side. If that were true the Sith wouldn't be taking action against the AFUS, they'd be working along side them. No, the dark side is not responsible for this turn of events, it is something far more sinister at work here, something beyond the light and darkness, something beyond the Force's true nature here." Fegru said.

"Long ago the Sith understood the need for balance in the galaxy, the great Sith Lords Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh knew better than to lay siege to the Republic, it was only due to Naga Sadow's lust for glory and power that the Sith were destroyed all those centuries ago. They eventually returned however. However why is it that even though the Sith were powerful enough to defeat us that Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh didn't attack? It is because they both realized that the Jedi and the Sith were essential to each others existence. Without the light there is no darkness, without the darkness there is no light. In the end it is a balancing act, when the Sith are too strong the Jedi either rise to match them, or the Sith destroy themselves from within, and vice versa. That is how the Force functions, it may take more time than we wish, but the Force always brings balance to itself in time, as does all in nature." Fegru added to the entire chamber, his history and philosophical lesson over.

He then turned his attention to the Council. "It is clear that the AFUS do no realize the true impact of what they plan to do, they do not see what the result of their attacks will do, which makes them the most dangerous beings in the galaxy right now. I do not enjoy saying this but in order to assure that the Force maintains it's balance we may be forced to join forces with our long standing foes." he said, silence ensuing. "Yes I am suggesting that if the need arises we contact the Sith and parley with them, they have just as much to lose from this as we do, and as the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Also by working with them we can be certain that the Force remains balanced, make sure that one does not grow stronger than the other." he added. "Which is why I agree with Karn on the issue of Jaden here." he added.

He then looked over to the padawan. "I am sorry but if I am correct it would be unfair of you to join us and potentially be forced to work alongside the very being who killed your master. Most masters can hardly conceive of the idea of facing such a challenge without an emotional response," he said, eying a few of the Councilors, people he knew had lost masters themselves to the Sith. "However I also know that Karn is right, three Jedi will not be sufficient to handle the AFUS, if Jaden can overcome his insatiable need for gaining justice for his master, and allow the Force to play its hand, I request he join us, I can see to it personally that he doesn't lose himself to frenzy if the need arises. The point is things have grown far worse than I think even the Council knows." he added turning his whole focus back to the Council.

"If we do go through with this we must be ready to do so differently than we ever have in the past. Little to no collateral damage, or else we prove them right, no total eradication, or we prove them right, no making ourselves look to be beyond the laws of the galaxy, or we prove them right." he said, he then bowed his head in thought. "I am ready to take on this mission, I only ask for some time to further prepare before we are sent off." he said bowing. "That is all I have to say Masters." he concluded looking around to them.

Valara looked from Karn to Fegru in turn.

?Knight Fell, the issues you speak of have already been considered, analyzed and discussed within this council. We are not suggesting an all out war. But we cannot afford to have a Triumvirate here. As Master Fegru stated, the Force is constantly in sway of adding weight to one side or another. Right now the weight is on the side of the Sith. We will always be struggling with them inevitably, but the fact of this matter is that if AFUS continues to operate at the rate they have been, there wont be a scale left to tip. It seems as though half the galaxy is against both Jedi and Sith. And the factions wont compromise. On that subject, Master Fegru, it would be most unwise to try and parlay with the Sith. They have not been suffering losses as we have. Joining with them seems a very far fetched and ill advisable temporary solution. Though the mission command is yours. You may do as you see fit. We only ask that you keep us informed.?

Master Valara turned his attention back to Karn.

?If you feel so strongly against the mission then we will find someone else to take your place. It is harsh and rarely our way to do something like this, but we cannot sit back and watch as we are exterminated. There is no waiting on the sideline while the Sith take our problem out for us. The Sith are ruthless, and cunning. They may destroy the AFUS outright. But in the meantime, AFUS is destroying us because our Order resorts to negotiation tactics. Should we hide here on Tython and pray by the Force that our problems will be taken care of for us? It is the opinion of this Council that the answer to that question is most certainly no. You are right on one point though, we are not soldiers, we are not warriors. We are peace keepers. The problem with that mind set is that peace has already been lost, Knight Fell. We must do what we have to, to restore the peace and return to our normal post of guarding it as best we can. As for traveling inconspicuously. Just because you ride on the same vessel does not mean your destinations will be the same. There are ways around common eyes young Fell. Use your head and trust in the Force.?

Jaden was standing a bit anxiously. The thought of working with Shane Tessin was something that made his stomach roil. But he was a Jedi. It was something he needed to remember.

?I do not like the idea of working with our sworn enemy. But I will do as Master Fegru asks, and follow his lead.?

Valara nodded slowly. He knew that Jaden was earnest in his need and want to help. But it was going to run a thin line. He hoped that Fegru could keep him in line.

    Tag All assembled.

    IC: Shane Tessin

?Nar Shadaa huh? How dismal, I just had these robes cleaned??

Shane spoke more to himself than to Ravage. They cleared Coruscant easily and jumped to hyperspace. It would take a few hours to get to the cesspit of a planet. In the meantime, Shane elected to meditate, as he knew Ravage probably was. He concentrated on the Dark Side as he closed his eyes. The Force surrounded him in all it?s entirety. It let him sink into the flow of the universe.

His mind began to wander as it often did in a state of nothingness.

Back in the day, Shane too had received the title of Darth. He had been known as Darth Arcanus. He had shrugged off the title as soon as he had been proclaimed as such.

Pretty titles didn?t matter much to Shane. To him, accepting the title of Darth was doing nothing more than hiding who you really were. Shane had no qualms about who he was. He rather enjoyed being the way he was. He was a killer, and an evil man, because the Force had corrupted him? No. He was evil because he loved it. He relished in inflicting pain. It caused him happiness to see others weaker than him suffer.

Yes, Shane Tessin was just a bad person. His soul was as black as space itself, as if all light was void of him. And nothing could be closer to describing him short of a destructive black hole. He was a void in causality. Not reall

"Very well. If this is what you want us to do, then I'm all for it, on the other hand I wont fight along side the Sith." Karn said calmly. "Diplomacy has failed us apparently, and we aren't strong enough to take on all our enemies. Then I change my mind, let the Padawan come along, and I take him under my own personal supervision, I will take Jade on as a Padawan learner, I'm old enough and I'm ready, if the council will allow me." Karn ended his statement. He looked from the eyes of the Council to Jaden sternly and seriously. "And what about you Jaden, what say you."

    IC: Jaden Tide

It was rather sudden to say the least. He had gone from being the odd man out to the object of being apprenticed again in the blink of an eye.

It was something that Jaden had wanted for the last year. Since the death of his Master, Jaden had felt so alone within the Order it had hurt every day. He had his friends of course. Everyone had companions in some fashion. But it was different. His Master had been a father figure to him, guiding him and raising him as a young man. And then that part of his life had been taken from him.

Jaden felt the ice form in the pit of his stomach again. He didn?t like the feeling. It was all too sudden.

?I appreciate the offer Master, but even though I know your face in passing, this is the first time we have really spoken. I know nothing about you, or you me. And besides that? I??

Jaden looked at the floor for a moment as he spoke.

?I.. don?t think I am ready for a new Master yet. It hasn?t been that long since the passing of my first one. If it hadn?t been obvious to me before now, I realized today that I am not done grieving for him. I am sorry Master Fell. But I must decline, at least for the time being.?

Jaden?s hand fell to his lightsaber hilt, feeling it?s familiar curves and buttons. If the dual blades had been cut in half, the hilts would have been identical to Jaden?s former Master?s weapon. It was the second weapon that the apprentice had created in his lifetime. But it reminded him too much of Master Duncan Lebow. Maybe it was time to move on. Maybe it was time to create a new hilt that was his and his alone.

It was something to consider in the coming days. Their journey was going to take more than a day. So he had time to reflect on it. For the time being, Jaden was content with submitting himself to the guidance of those around him, but wished to be left alone for the most part. He had a feeling he was going to face more than his inner demons in the days to come.

    Tag all.

The Captain reached out and Grosh helped the Captain to his feet.

?Honor huh. I can respect that. Wish we had more soldiers like you. Just be happy that you decided to hit me with the cushioned part of your glove, and not with the gauntlet.?

"Well, to be honest, Captain, I wasn't trying to hurt you. Just make a point."

The other people came into the alley, the Twi'lek female paying attention to him. Grosh just observed, not wanting to mislead or aggravate anyone. As the group left the alley, Grosh followed. They made their way to their base of operations, a bustling hub of activity at the moment. The Captian lookd over some stuff and finally spoke to Grosh.

"Before we go any further. What is your background and specialties??

"My background? Well, to make it short, sweet, and to the point, I once served in the Sith Imperial military. I excelled in heavy weaponry and demolitions. I didn't like the way the military was going, so I left. That was a few years ago. As for my specialties: heavy weapons and demolitions ordinance. I have fitted my beskar'gam with a grounding system, just to make sure I don't have any static built up on it. That would make for a pretty short career in demolitions. Also, given that the Sith seem to like to shoot lightning type stuff out of their hands, I figured it would be a good precaution against that as well. It can't withstand high voltage indefinitely, but the capacitors and circuits I installed should be good for a few minutes of exposure. I also specialize in some hand to hand combat."

Grosh took a moment, watching the passing people.

"Needless to say, I have little love for the Sith, and I doubt that the Jetiise are much better. If I can help take their numbers down a bit, then the galaxy will be better off. Maybe we can send them a message that just because we are 'ordinary' doesn't mean we can be manipulated by them."

Grosh took a swig of the water that was sitting in front of him.

"so, Captian, is there anything I can do to help out around here? I would hate to be dead weight. I firmly believe in pulling your own weight in an organization. Especially when you have common goals. One of which is getting my ship back," Grosh finished with a slight laugh.

"Very well. I understand if you aren't ready." Karn looked back at the council and the people around him. "Very well, when do we leave on this mission, it must be soon lest we allow our enemies time to settle their grievences and unite against us, even for just a little while." Karn exhaled and stared at the floor. "Yet one thing Masters are we going there for diplomacy or as the agressor, I dont like either, but I can do both." Karn remembered his old days, the first Sith he had killed that had killed his Master. He knew how the young one felt, that was why he offered his aid, the fact that he was rejected didn't bother him but he was sure the boy should be left behind for his memories were still to fresh one sight of the Sith and the boy would be off, uncontrollable most likely. "Masters I would like to be informed of the departure time of our. . . adventure and also as Master Geldar requested, I need about half an hour to gather my belongings and items for the mission." Karn spoke, yet all he needed was time to research this Shane, and Darth Ravage, figures that would undoubtedly show up on this mission.

The Kel Dor Jedi Master looked down at the padawan before him. 'I totally understand why you don't feel comfortable yet being made someone else's padawan, it took me two years after my master died before I would even entertain the idea, you, you're showing a lot more character than I did, it's only been about a year and you're at least open to the idea. Though you may not be anyone's apprentice I promise you that if the Council sees fit to send you with us I will look after you personally, and should Shane show up I will keep things from getting too tense.' the master said telepathically to the young Jedi.

He then looked back to the Council's grand master. 'If it is your wish to send Jaden with us I swear to watch over him, if it is your will I will take him as a padawan learner, but I will not do so against his will, if he does not feel ready I will not force the decision upon him.' Fegru sent to the master, still allowing Jaden to overhear. The last few words he was certain would remain in confidence between himself and those he had conversed with.

"Masters if that is all I will depart and ready myself, may the Force be with us all." he added bowing to the Council, then turning and bowing his head to Jaden before making to leave the chamber.

?To be honest with you Grosh, the best thing you can do right now is stay glued to my hip. I understand your need to pull your own weight. And I can?t agree with you more. But with your specialties and combat experience, you are a bit ahead of the curb when it comes to tactics and overall combat, at least compared to most of our recruits. The men that serve with the Commander are former special forces, people who have dealt with Force Users before. Most of the guys here are mostly ex infantry types or just normal folk wanting to do their part.?

The Captain was still going over his datapad as he spoke.

?As for your ship. I wouldn?t worry too much about that end of it. Our guys should have it back here in no time. The perk of open recruiting is that you get all kinds of people with special skills. Someone who looks like a stay at home parent during the normal week, may actually be a master slicer in their spare time. Some of our specialists are liberating your ship as we speak, and will be fixing it up with a new transponder code and registration by the time it gets here. In fact, I was thinking about it and I believe I am going to have those individuals assigned to your command. Nothing fancy, just a squad of talented people. You would stand more of a chance while they are around and maybe you can teach them a thing or two along the way.?

The captain?s comm. buzzed and he pressed a finger to his ear.

?Tolbas. Yes. Really? That was fast. Alright, I?ll meet you in 10, stand fast.?

The Captain straightened his shirt and stood up.

?Looks like your ship is waiting on us. I hope you weren?t too attached to Onderon. It seems that we will be departing not long after you arrived.?

The Captain nodded his head in a fashion that told Grosh to follow. He made his way out a back door and hung a left turn, leading to an outdoor stairway leading to the roof of the building they were in. As they reached the roof, Grosh?s vessel was touching down.

?Nothing like good old fashioned efficiency!?

The Captain was a deceptive man. To the common eye, he looked like a street bum. Unshaven and homely. But around his men, his true nature came out. He stood straight and proper. He was a soldier, and it showed when he wanted it to.

The ship touched down and the ?Hijackers? piled out. A few went downstairs immediately to help with the evac operation for equipment and personnel. Two people remained behind and snapped to attention in front of Tolbas.

?As you were. Grosh, I would like you to meet your new team.?

Tolbas turned motioned to the human female to his left, she was rather fetching, silky brown hair that ran to her shoulders, athletic build apparent even under her grey jump suit. She had a single slug thrower pistol strapped to her thigh.

?Malina Troshe. Pilot and expert slicer. She insists that she knows her way around a schematic as well, might come in handy if you need anything fabricated by way of weapon, tech, or just straight up repairs.?

    Malina nodded to Grosh slightly.

Tolbas nodded at the human male to the right.

?Texen Alorah. Fancies himself something of a sharp shooter. He?s good with any ranged weapon, heavy or otherwise. But generally likes to keep his distance. Also moderately skilled at stealth tactics and maneuvers.?

The man was of an unimposing height and stature. But he had a look in his eyes that spoke volumes about his experience wielding the long rifled slung on his shoulder. He seemed to be constantly chewing on some kind of flattened straw. He too was wearing a grey jumpsuit.

    ?Pleased to meet?cha Mando.?

?Melina, Tex, Grosh here is going to be your new team leader. I expect you to show him the same respect you would show me, got it??

    Both nodded an affirmation.

?Alright. Now that that is settled. I need to go and oversee the final stages of our ex-filtration. Grosh, I am transmitting you your first assignment. We have been tracking down lone Jedi all over the galaxy. There is a Sith Marauder by the name of Pora?loba out on Tattooine.

OOC: Uh, Radiance you didn't really post anything in reference to my post. Just saying.

    IC: Fegru Gedar

"Well Jaden I was thinking if you want to find a world torn in two, look no farther than the center. Our first trip will be to Coruscant, we're bound to find someone there who will help us. If that fails we try Nar Shaddaa or Tattooine, I've found working with the Hutts can be useful when the occasion calls for it." Fegru said, he was now clad in a long dark leather trench coat, a sleeveless black shirt, loose fitting blue denim pants, and comfortable black sporting shoes. "As for what we do when we get there, we find where the tension is highest and drop a few hints that we may know where a few Jedi might be hiding out. Then we can lay a trap, if it turns out that only a grunt shows up, or a sympathizer we let them pass through, if an true member passes through we will apprehend them and get as much information as possible without inflicting any permanent damage." Fegru added. "Actually the first thing we will be doing will be to split into teams of two, Padawan Tan will go with Master Karn, you will team up with me. I feel your conflicting views with Master Karn would complicate things should I team the two of you up." he continued double checking his belongings. He had acquired a few new toys from a good friend, including a transmission scrambler, a disruptor for any taps or bugs in an area, and a few knock out grenades and smoke bombs, pretty much anything to help them either catch an individual, or run away. He had even managed to acquire some low level personal shields.

"Here Jaden we'll each need one of these." he added tossing the small generator to the padawan. "These should help at least somewhat against those slug throwers they have, I had them adjusted to function on a multi wavelength, they'll work as particle or ray shielding, which means physical weapons and energy weapons will be rendered fundamentally ineffective against us. Or at least the shields will hold long enough for us to get within combat range, and they should keep us from being easily ambushed." he added preparing the other personal arrays. "Now I guess we wait for the others." he said with a sigh as he placed his hands in his coat's pockets.
