I'm not sure if I can make it next Saturday, but I suppose it's time to bow down before the gaming gods and learn how to play at least one CCG!

I will go over to WOTC tomorrow and see if they will set something up for us. Like a tutorial on game play (I'd hate to teach it wrong) and the like. I will post a day tomorrow after noon

Lisa from wizards of the coast is going to be instructing us. We need six people to form a league. It's 5 dollars a year and 1 dollar per tournament. the top three spots in the tournament receive a Promo card that you can't buy. Lisa will explain more about the tournament on Saturday. please let me know how many people plan to attend so I can let her know on Friday.

    ok here's the low down.

There are two kinds of decks, Light side and Dark side. Each deck must contain atleast 60 cards. In a League you need both kinds of decks. You can pick up a starter deck of 30 cads for either side for 10 dollars at WOTC. At wal-mart they have a starter box that gives you 30 light and 30 dark, the game board, damage counters and rules for around 7.99. There are two kinds of booster packs. AOTC (which the starter decks are part of) which has 180 cards. and The Sith Rising which has 90 cards. In Nov they are coming out with the A New Hope packs with 180 new cards.

On Saturday I will be bring both my Light and dark decks. Plus I'll make a few extra decks this week to bring for those who don't have a deck yet. I should be able to make at least 1 of each. Those who do have thier own deck, I will have cards to trade.

Ken and I will try to come. We have to be at my parent's house for my belated birthday dinner (yay! cake and presents!!) at about 5, but P-City is sort of on the way. I still want to learn to play, even if we can't make it.

Well, I have never played a trading card game before, so maybe I should sit this one out. I would just keep asking the same questions over and over, I'm sure...
