    From starwars.com:

They're responsible for some of the most dazzling and awe-inspiring visuals to appear on the silver screen and now, the concept artists behind Revenge of the Sith bring their considerable talents to comics.

The gifted minds of the Episode III Art Department and Industrial Light & Magic come together to tell their own Star Wars tales in a new compilation of short stories: Star Wars: Visionaries. Given free reign to explore any and every aspect of the Star Wars universe, each artists offers a new twist or a deeper view into that galaxy far, far away...

Nowhere else will you find a more pure or different look at the Star Wars galaxy than in these 10 exciting tales from the artists who helped create Revenge of the Sith. Featuring the talents of Robert E. Barnes, Ryan Church, Warren Fu, Alex Jaeger, Sang Jun Lee, Stephan Martiniére, Aaron McBride, Mike Murnane, Derek Thompson, Erik Tiemens, and Feng Zhu.

Edited by Jeremy Barlow with an introduction by Lucasfilm senior editor J. W. Rinzler, this trade paperback is scheduled for release on April 2 from Dark Horse Comics.

Is this why many TPBs didn't have all the issue covers, to be compiled here? Just speculating. These all had half their covers missing, strangely---or deliberately.

    Stark Hyperspace
    Golden Age of the Sith
    Fall of the Sith Empire
    Rite of Passage
    CW3 Jabiim
    Empire Betrayal

I could swear it said he was non-humanoid in his databank entry at one point. Or quadrupedal, or something like that. They must have changed it to make me look bad. :p

I would have rather he'd been non-humanoid. He looks so boring in that picture. Normal body, weird head. Or just wierd eyes, if that shot of im in bacta's anything to go by. Oh well.

It's been public knowledge what Grevious looks like for a year now. I don't see how you missed it. Or are you refering to the guy in bacta? I though that was Anakin.

EDIT: Yeah, I think that's Anakin in te bacta. But I do remember hearing as well that grevious was not huminoid in his origonal body.

No, no, I mean what greevy looked like before he was borged. Before the shuttle crash. I know what he looks like now.

I don't think the guy in the bacta's anakin. His injuries are too severe, plus his eyes don't look human.

And he is without the tell-tale scar on his head... could be Greivous.

    I thought grievous was non-humanoid?

    http://www.starwars.com/community/news/2004/06/news20040624.html

Part non-humanoid alien, part custom-designed droid, General Grievous hunted Jedi for sport and proudly displayed his victims' lightsabers around his belt as trophies of his conquests.

Notice that you can't see his feet, or what's behind him in that picture of Grievous. [face_thinking]

Reminds me of that SNL Walken skit with the centaur at the job interview.

Check out the Centaur pinball machine.... the red eyes are like GG's goons'.

I assume the last of those Visionaries pics is the pre-borg Grievous.

I do hope they stay true to the backstory established in LoE.

Apparently this is where the backstory came from. So the VIPs on the official site tell me.

So are they not proceeding with this idea? Is it noew totally Grievous centric? Shame, 'cause I would have liked to have seen this.

Of course original stories. Otherwise I probably wouldn't even bother with this.

I'm actually really excited about this. Some tales will be in continuity, and some will not, but we'll get to see some of the coolest and craziest designs out there. It should be an eye candy freakout. ;)

I'm not sure if I'm going to: I'll hold out and see if we get a favourable Canon:Infinities ratio.
