I was Reading something about that once... It was an Article in a Magazine called. "THE MAGAZINE" and there was something called "STARWARS VS. STARTREK" and the results... STARWARS WINS!!!
no matter whcich opinion u have.. star wars have been nominated #1 movie all time this june , and better music in a movie film with john williams this september.. and for star trek william shapner have been nominated the worst singer for lucy in the sky lolllll
I wonder what the majority will pick on a starwars forum?? But... obviously without a doublt starwars blows star trek out of the stars.
Why does it always have to be one or the other? Are people incapable of enjoying TWO forms of sci-fi? Does it always have to be a competition? Personally, I love 'em both.
I suppose if you enjoy boring diplomatic negotiation with predictable plots and outcomes, star trek is for you. A favorite thing of mine is how on every episode of the next generation, no matter what the problem was they could always seem to "re-route the power linkage through the shields to....." or " Use the transporter to project a hologram which will disrupt the enemy sensors...." the end of every episode had the crew abusing some piece of equipment aboard their ship to do something totally un-explainable, which somehow saved their butts in the last three minutes of every episode, leaving just enough time for a captains log, full of emotion and depth. Barf. rubbish. on the other hand, space battles, laser swords, and telekenesis.... and lots of hands getting chopped off. STAR WARS all the way.
One question. Why on earth would you ask this question on a SW board? Obviously, there would be no or little "Trekkies" on here. SW all the way.
Did you guys even read the post? He's just trying to sell us something so it's just a spam thread. And besides, Battlestar Gallactica is better.
