You can see it here [link=http://www.dtheatre.com/read.php?sid=3785]flaming Optimus[/link]
I hope that this is not Optimus.
If it is...
It is very similar to the Generation Two Laser Optimus Prime. Very cool figure... but it is better to be different... more like the original Gen 1
Woohoo! A nice remastered version for the collection!
I can't wait for this one. I am hoping that they will include matierial from the Japanees version. The art is very different in that version.
Anybody get the latest Transformers comics? I wasn't even aware they still had some, had a whole bunch in the local comic store today.
I have not picked it up yet.
There are a few series out right now. Generations... it is a re-print of the original Marvel comics. Infiltration... A G1/Alternators series (a re-start of the story in a way. Beast Wars... dealing with the characters that were not in the cartoons but were action figures. The Strom... All Robots, G1. And I heard that they are looking at doing a profiles book series. DW did a series of G1 and Armada... so I hope that they do not try and re-do them.. but it would be nice to see G2 and others.
I was so tempted but I'm getting Star Wars: Rebellion, KOTOR and Legacy at the moment.
I have some of the old Transformers Comics in Book Format that I got a couple of years ago.

If someone can get me one of the Transformers Posters i'll be eternally grateful!!!
I have the perfect spot in my office at work for the poster.
I would love to look up when working at my desk and see the Autobot symbol staring at me over the Earth.
Ha Ha Ha!
Apparently Prime is going to be sort of a combination of Generation One and Generation Two Laser Prime.
Oh, and they are hoping to get Cullen for the voice!
Check the DVD website, it's been updated!
Plus 2 repaints and more in 2007. This is per rebelscum and was just posted today after the Hasbro panel at Comic-Con.
I just learned some information about the movie that will be out next year.
Optimus Prime will stand at 32 feet tall (when I was a kid I guessed 35... not too far off).
And now we know who will be doing the voice for our beloved leader...
The one and only Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus and Ironhide in the original cartoons)!
Exactly who I had hoped would do it!
wow the same voice, nice!
didn't starscream have the same voice as cobra commander? cant remember exactly.
still not sold on bumblebee though, gonna be hard for us old fogeys to accept a non volkswagen vehicle
I have not heard what kind of vehical bublebee is going to be. The Transformers clasics line is putting him as a mini cooper.
Yes. Starscream and cobra Commander had the same voice. Saddly, the word out is that he died of cancer some years back.
I think bumb;e bee is supposed to be the new '08 Camaro. A very sexy car!!!
I heard that VW wouldn't let them use the liscence for the movie? Which is odd seeing as how it was okay for Cars, and *shiver* Herbie Fully Loaded
That sucks from VW if they did that.
I hear they are now hoping to get the original Megatron voice too!
I wish they'd use the proper colors.
I am okay with the metal color instead of the red and purple. I do hope that this is only the colors for the posters however. I hope that on the 'bots they will have the true colors.
Phil this is way off topic, but I know you're a fan. Go to apple.com/trailers and check out TMNT.
I saw it on Utube. It looks great! I have always loved the Turtles!
Very cool. If you continue looking on that site... you will find that they also think that they have seen a constructicon. If so... This may wind up being a GREAT Transformers film!
Let's hope so!
Not from the movie but cool anyway.
It is a very nice pic... however it will not be the movie. The design (except for the matrix being visable) is 100% the cartoons. As I hope that Prime follows the same general look, they will update him a bit for the film... especialy if Don is correct and Bumblebee is a 2008 camero.
