Star Wars Wedding on T.V.!!!

    Dude, they just showed a SW wedding on "Wild Weddings"! Groom was Darth Vader, Bride was Queen Amidala, Ring bearer was little Ani, and the Emperor gave the serimony! Captain Piett had a few things to say when the Emperor said "speak now or forever hold your peace". Then the groom said he found his lack of faith desturbing. It was awsome! It looked exactly like the inside of the Death Star also! Everyone was dressed as someone.

    Yeah it was. But it did get a little weird when they were taking their oaths on the Force. Like "all powerful force" and it was serious, like some kind of cult or something.

    I've seen that bit repeatedly. I believe it actually took place in 2000 or so, and if you ask the right people in the JC, they'll tell you exactly who the happy couple are. There might even be stuff about it in the back reaches of the costuming forum. (There was some very good costuming going into that wedding.)
