Star Wars Week at the Harvard Coop

Hi I'm new to the forum but want to alert everyone that The Harvard Coop bookstore will be having a Star Wars week soon. R. A. Salvatore will be appearing and signing his new book Star Wars Episode 2 Attack Of The Clones. He will be there on May 13th @ 7pm. Could be pretty cool!

Will Brooker will be there on May 15th too. He wrote Batman Unmasked and just came out with his new book Using The Force. It's about the Star Wars Phenomena in our culture. That should be pretty cool as well. Can't wait till the Salvatore event though. That's going to be SWEET!

Now this is what I call good news. Of course, getting there might be a problem. It's the same week as Episode 2, and I've already got to ask for three days off work in that week(two for meets, one for a field trip).

 

Hopefully you can go to school in Boston, Eric, and then you can come to every meet without worrying about transportation.

If I have enough money, there is no way I'm missing this. Of course, its on a Monday...I could just drop out of school I guess!
But I've already seen RA Salvatore...but this is for Ep.2. AHHH decisions!

 

I could call in sick, but doing such on that particular week would probably not endear me to the manager. Not a good thing, considering I'm currently on her good side, and I've seen what being on her bad side can be like.

The cool part is he's a Mass resident!! maybe we could make him an honorary Rebel!!

Yeah so- you know how the NYC Fanforce always has dinners and stuff with famous people? Well why don't we have one for Salvator?
I don't know what it would be for, but we could think of something.
This should probably be after May since we have enough things to do till then.

we could try and help out some kind of local charity!we could do fund raiser type stuff around town.it may even help us with C3.

Now that is a good thought. Salvatore is a big SW fan, so I wouldn't doubt that he would help us raise money for C3.
