I'll have to download it when I have time. I think "Clerks" is the only fan film I've watched. It's pretty humorous. I never knew who worked at the Death Star's convenience store. ;)

Yay, another Asimov lover. I love his stories and am building up a collection of all of his sf novels, starting with some originals that my dad had that he gave me.

DarthBoba: She was very smart. The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books were very popular when I grew up.

Kadue: Yeah, one of my friends who wrote her Masters thesis on Shakespeare, corresponded with Asimov. She said that she could not believe the number of typos he made. Each letter was kind of messy.

I knew G. Harry Stine when I was just a kid. There's not much to say.

Yeah, I've read most of the Hardy Boys books myself. Very fun to read, although Chet could be downright annoying at times..

    Night, Kathy.

Goodnight all. Thanks especially to JediBoba and Kadue for the thoughts on a puzzler for me. That the dark side might be reaching for Jacen . . . that's an unsettling thought.

Might as well post my answers to the lit poll while I got the place to myself . . .

Favorite SW Book: I,Jedi;TTT;Starfights of Adumar

Favorite SW Author: Tim Zahn, the master of the SW EU imo (no apologies GL, o inventer of JarJar, 'cause you're talking down to your audience - just remember Howard the Duck, George. Boo!!) maybe went over the top there . . . sorry, it's late and I'm short on sleep.

Favorite EU only character from an SW book: Corran Horn

Your favorite book as a child: It was about a pack of black wolves in the Yukon told from their point of view - don't know the title.

Your favorite genre besides Sci Fi: history - ancient/medieval/Elizabethan

Funniest book you've ever read: The War Between Men and Women by James Thurber

Saddest book you've ever read: Flowers for Algernon

Most disturbing and/or thoughtprovoking book you've ever read: The Diary of Anne Frank - to be a teenager in such times!

Scariest book you've ever read: 'Salems Lot (I was reading it on a bus in broad daylight and was scared stiff . . don't read SK anymore).

If you could fall into a book and live in that world for the rest of your life, which book would it be: I've always thought it would be cool to live in Narnia. (I would have said the SW universe, but it seems that the people there are living in those "interesting times" the Chinese wish on their enemies.)

Favorite character in a book: Luke Skywalker as written by Zahn or Tyers

Favorite character in a continuing book series: Luke or Wedge, I like 'em both.

Favorite continuing book series: Wraith squadron or Rogue squadron - I'm hoping for more from A. Allston

Favorite classic book: Pride & Prejudice

Your favorite drink at Starbucks: Mocha latte with a shot of raspberry

    Off to bed . . . my Jedi's calling!
