did you ever watch Daily #100?


I watched it a few months ago and I'm watching it again now. It's almost 2 hours long, but it might be the best starcraft video out there. and it contains no actual gameplay in it at all.

 

I watched like the first 20 minutes a little while back. I've heard lots of great things about it....whenever I get enough time I'll try to watch all of it.

 

It is the starcraft video that has been known to make nerds everywhere tear up a bit.


Yes... I teared up. I don't even care. It gets THAT emotional.

 

I admire his passion and all but it's just a little hard for me to watch a guy sitting in front of a camera talk for 2 hours (even if it is about something I love).

 

Definitely. I can never regularly watch his daily's for that reason. I have to seriously be in a crazy starcraft-ey mood to sit through it.

 

Funday Monday's are the best.

 

Agreed. I never take part in it though, I'm too nervous in my ladder games as it is, doing something like no queens scares the crap out of me. haha




EDIT: I'm 7-7 in my last 14 games. seems normal right? Not so much... It was a 4 game winning streak followed by a 7 game losing streak followed by a 3 game winning streak... I have no idea where I'm at right now with this game.

 

What league are you in Armenian? The system is set up so that, if you're playing at your skill level, you'll roughly win 50% of your games. So if you've gone 7/7, then you're where you should be.

 

I'm in Gold. But yeah I don't think the system knows where I should be. I'm doing too good against the low golds and high silvers they're matching me up against, so they start giving me tougher opponents that are high gold and I get slaughtered. The match making system can't find a good middle ground so I can win and lose consistently instead of going on streaks like this.
