I'm on a 6 game winning streak. My last win was against a plat player. I'm being matched up against plat players now. Holy crap. If I get promoted to plat, I'm just not gonna play anymore.

 

I'm in the top 8 in Silver. Go me.

 

I don't know how I did it but I got into Gold after winning my placement match for the new season. I did finish first in my Silver division but I went like 3-7 in my last 10 games. Whatever, I'm retiring!

I totally sat out season 5. I played too much SWTOR and Arkham City. I need to rekindle my SCII fire.

 

I'm 6-7 so far in season 6. It seems like when I'm on my game, I'm REALLY on my game. But when I lose focus, I get outplayed easily.

 

I'm considering 6pooling every time I get matched up against another zerg. I hate ZvZ THAT much.

 

Every time I play TvT I just go 1-1-1 and race to battle cruisers. The matchup is no good for me.

 

Yeah all the mirror matchups seem to blow. Oh well.


I've won 7 of my last 10 ladder matches. The last one was prolly the best game I've ever played macro-wise. I don't know how I got an army that big that fast, never done that before. I was nearly maxed out at around the 16 minute mark.

 

lings or zealots in your mineral line? this should help deal with them.

This MLG has been crazy awesome so far.

Leenock (#1 seed) losing to Oz (#24)? Demuslim (#32) beating Nestea (#9) and Haypro (#7)? Ganzi (#29) beating MVP (#4) and MC (#6)? Epic upsets. Leenock vs. Naniwa was good, Naniwa vs. Nestea was classic - game 2 especially is one of my favorite pro SC2 games ever, and game three was a perfect "You want cheese? Fine, I'll shove this cheese down your throat and make you choke on it." Huk has looked shaky, but for the moment he's the highest ranked player in the winner's bracket - and his two base NINE gate had the casters go WTF, until he pulled it off.

This isn't quite the best SC2 I've seen (everyone seems to be making serious play errors) but it's been wildly entertaining.


Also, I've put down SW:TOR for the moment, and gone back to SC2. Playing 4v4, redoing placement matches (LOL, poor Bronze/Silver players) and now I'm back into Diamond. It's good to be back.

 

I've only been able to watch what MLG will allow me to until I get the sign in prompt. I'm not sure about the $20 thing....even if I wanted to this particular weekend for isn't the best for me. I definitely wanna watch DeMusliM vs Nestea when the VODs get released for free.

 

Yeah, I almost threw down the 20 bucks until I realized I had too much stuff going on this weekend to really get my money's worth. :/

DRG playing Oz and one of them got dropped out mid-game. I know this doesn't happen often in tournaments but Blizzard really dropped the ball with not having LAN support.

 

Yeah, if nothing else, they need to make a special version of the game for tournaments that has LAN support.

 

GSL Season 1 finals are tonight (DRG vs Genius). I might stay up to watch....we'll see.

Probably here. I have the advantage of being able to lie down in bed and watch so there's a possibility I could pass out.
