Zombies are dead. Homework is finished. Halfway done with my master's and still have a 4.0. We're all packed, and now we're heading up there.

DANG...that was FUN!!! I have pictures printing.

Meanwhile, house is not spotless, but presentable. Second load of laundry is in....pork roast is marinating....


.........hmmmm, still wondering if I did anything stupid last nite ....or this morning hehehe. Mike should be inquiring Over hang is setting in, and I am off to mow the lawn.


Did I mention that our costumes rocked !!!!

Seeing everyone in costume was really cool, too. Kinda missed being one of the "cool kids" -- you guys did a great job pulling the Tuskens together.

Started thinking...maybe...if I start now and just pace myself so I get a few hours of costuming in every week from now until Dragon*Con, I may actually be able to finish something really cool in time, and not have it affect my grades.

Hmm...

 

Getting to meet Joe Flanigan was flippin amazing!!!!

Hope everyone else had as good a time as me. Now I am going to crawl into my coocoon and not come out until next con!

Doni is THE BEST reader EVER! She even made that hideous piece of trifle sound fun. I was thrilled that we got to spend some more time getting to know her during Starfest... And I will always think of this line whenever I hear her name: "He was a *SOB*, but he was MY *SOB!*"

PROUD/HAPPY/ECSTATIC/OVERJOYED/THRILLED/TOUCHED/DELIGHTED That the RMFF was able to help me repay a small amount of the kindnesses I have received in my travels across the SW Fandom universe. kreleia & LJC had a fantastic time and are looking forward to coming out and spending more time with us

I got home and didn't realize until this morning...I don't have my Jedi costume.

Did anyone pick it up?? I left it hanging in the closet and I called but they didn't have anything logged in for the rooms.

 

I'm sorry I missed the con. I planned on going but I didn't get all my artwork finished which totally frustrated me--I was soooooo close to having it done. I worked on it till 6:00 friday and when I realized I was going to need several more hours to finish it I had just had it! Seemed like I had to do everything twice to get it right. (I am making mermaid/fairy art dolls from polymer clay)
then when a friend wanted to go to dinner Friday and my sister asked me to come along to the Botanic Gardens free day Saturday and I already missed being paid on Easter I really can't afford to miss this Sunday also. I figured I probably wouldn't sell the dolls there anyway or at least for not as much as I could on ebay I decided I can't afford to go. They usually have another con in the fall don't they? I can try and get a lot done by then.

 

John and I had a lot of fun, even when we were stuck behind the table...hehe. I got to talk to Tricia Helfer twice, sweet...and she answered my question about a possible BSG Movie. But we missed the sunday meeting, because we had a B-Day BBQ to attend. See you all next month.

At least I have the belt and saber, but I don't have the robe, sashes and actual pieces...

 

I'll double check my things, i haven't completely unpacked as of yet. I'll let you know if i find anything.

I hope so. The only thing I'm really sad about is the robe, since it's so soft and pet-able.

The director for Done the Impossible. Gave me the DVDs they were selling for free!

They were going for $40! he he he

It isn't the actual movie, but the panels from all the different cons of the cast of Firefly.

Well, she was nice...and she gave us lots of towels, so maybe it's a fair trade.
