Starfest 2013 -April 19-21st

I'm ready to panic. It's time. There's our SPN panel to worry about, plus I was hoping to get that old stargate costume finally done. So far I haven't actually done any concrete new work on it.

I just need to work up the energy and motivation to panic, now.

 

Energy and motivation. That's probably why I haven't panicked yet.

I'm getting excited!!! We have a babysitter too so no kiddos .

 

I totally spaced getting a room and thought I had plenty of time, and now suddenly its 3 weeks away and Saturday is sold out.

My lovely wife got on the phone and somehow got me a room. Crisis averted!

 

K'leigh and I have our room set. It always seems like a rat race to the rooms, no matter how early you book them (we booked our room early this month). Anyways, we'll be there Friday night, all day Saturday, and half day Sunday.

I'f you're making Manhattans, Nerf, I'm totally there.

 

I am suppose to get an atrium balcony room this year,but I'm not sure which floor yet! (So I've been told by the" Marriott" staff!) fingers crossed again...

 

I had believed that getting an atrium room was first-come first served. Is this not correct?

 

That's what I've heard, though I don't have first hand knowledge. I do know that several years ago it was no big deal- I remember getting an atrium room just randomly without us requesting one.

 

Some people are actually booking Thursday night to guarantee an Atrium room

 

That's about the only way to truly guarantee an atrium room. Or be there at 8 am on Friday, and hope there are still some left.

Less than two weeks! Panic is really starting to set in, enough to motivate me to actually do something about it.

 

I am sad to say that things have come up and I will only be at StarFest for a little while Friday afternoon. Ya'll have a blast!

 

Sadness I might not see you, we won't be arriving until Friday evening.

 

We shall see, I will definately miss ya'll!

 

I got a SW ruler, 8 pack of markers and pack of OT tattoos at Michaels for 50 cents each as prizes for prize wheel giveaways. They're a cheap prize option if anybody else wants to go pick some up!

 

1/2 price of 3 day passes!!! Only $27 for 3 days!! Its normally $55 for the weekend or $35 for just Saturday, so you would be saving money either way.
