It is their destiny...
i'm already into season 5, and i'm still watching. i really enjoyed the episodes dealing with teal'c being brainwashed.
STAR GATE SG-1
The Complete Series
now available at
for about $280.00
I feel the lock on my wallet melting.....
Interesting series that I was into at the beginning then my interest wore off.
Couldn't be that good of a series if Garbagge and Derek let this thread fall to the bottom like a rock.
I just finished watching Wormhole X-treme! and i thought it was a hilarious tongue-in-cheek episode.
WormHole Extreme.........really quite a good episode,
with a GREAT reoccuring character.
This episode, has a Galaxy Quest
like spirit to it.
Episode 200 was good too.
I just watched "The Light" from Season 4 today during lunch. It was OKay. Not a stinker, but there are far better.
OK, The Lock has melted.
It was helped along by a $132.00 coupon from the wife.
It is a monster box set, I feel overwhelmed!
This is with Richard Dean Anderson, correct..
yes. he was also in some show in the late 80's where he worked for some foundation that was in phoenix, or something, and he could make stuff out of stuff. i don't think it ever caught on, but he rebounded from it and had a good career on SG-1.
Getting a job for that show requires an engineering degree.
Ref the size of this box-set.
Guinness World Records recognized Stargate SG-1 as the longest currently running consecutive sci-fi series in 2006. The show is second only to the Doctor Who series, which holds the title for longest running sci-fi show overall.
Am unsure of the total episode count,
Christopher Judge ... Teal'c / ... (212 episodes, 1997-2007)
and if you include that almost ever disk has some kind of featurette on it,
well....I am going to be busy for sometime, even tho I am binge watching these,
in an effort to protect the investment to make sure that all the disks work,
before they can no longer be returned as defective!
and I thought the West Wing was LONG
also, have made it to the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2,
These are great episodes (the previous were a little weak for me, except the pilot)
I would show people the MOVIE, the Pilot, and these two episodes, and if they
did not get a connection to the show, then I could advise them to move on
to other entertainment.
Two Stargate SG-1 movies coming out this year. In March, 'The Ark of Truth' is released. It wraps up the story arc from seasons 9, 10. And the in July 'Stargate: Continuum' is just an adventure movie set in SG-1 universe with all the lovable characters.
Garbage your post from above is an all time classic, thanks
Yeah, that was pretty good. [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YkSsLyWQYE]Here's[/link] a little reminder about the brilliance of that show, courtesy of MasterCard.
Worth a watch:
man I love '80s TV shows
back when you could throw something at someones head, and out they went
I pity the fool who thinks I ain't bad enough!
A-team...my mom wouldn't let me watch for a long time thinking it was too violent. She saw 1 episode and I had clearance ever since
Was it the "Boy George" episode
No it was the episode were someone was in trouble and came to the A-team for help. Then in the end the built a weapons armada out of everyday stuff and dynamite. They ended up getting the bad guys but were almost caught by the military police. Remember that episode.
I remember that one. Didn't a vehicle or building get blown up, too? I think that might have also been the episode where they had to drug B.A. to get him to fly.
Same one were BA and Murdoch didn't get along, BA kept saying he was gonna "hurt that Sucka"
