ST Starkiller Base.....REALLY????

So in episode 4 you have the Deathstar and it gets blown to crap! They rebuild it and with a little more difficulty in episode 6 it gets blown to crap again.So what do they do? Well of course the build a bigger meaner weapon! Makes sense. What doesn't make sense and this one of the problems I have with episode 7 is it took very little effort or fire power to destroy it! You would think after having there Deathstar blown up twice they invest in some serious defense/shields ect.Bottom line is taking on the Deathstar was not a walk in the park and taking on Starkiller Base should have been some epic battle like you see in the lord of rings.It was far too easy.

 

The twist about the Starkiller that I liked is that what makes it powerful is also what ultimately destroys it. By harnessing the power of the sun but not firing, the planet collapses into a star.

 

And then you realize...it looks like a Pokeball!

 

This wasn't another Death Star. That's why you're having difficulty. You think this is DS3. It's not.
