Even though we may not all like him he is a big part of the EU. So, I want the full on ISD-grabbing, TIE-crushing, Stormtrooper-vaporizing, Lightning-spam walking death because the force is unlimited.

I've only heard about him, something about him being an over-powered badass.. and I don't like the idea of Vader having an apprentice.

I don't like his name either.

Some facts about Starkiller for the ignorant:
    • Plays a prominent role in critical galactic events? Check.
    • Completely over-powered? Check.
    • Met prominent characters such as Yoda for little to no reason? Check.
    • His family's crest becomes the emblem of the galactic government? Check.
    • Able to beat renowned and skilled characters such as Darth Vader, Shaak Ti and the Emperor? Check.
    • Is an attractive white human male? Check.
    Check, freakin' check.
Please, sweet Waru, don't put him in this show. I swear the dude already has far too much of the spotlight, and as with all things in the SW universe, it's always the worst things which do.

I feel like The Force Unleashed 3 would feature him using Battle Meditation during the Battle of Endor, revealing him to be the main reason the Rebellion won that battle.

I think he needed to stay dead in the first game, and then let Vader kill him in **** U 2.

Looks like he is the male version of Mara Jade (which the Rebels don't need either). Honestly. If half of the things you all told me about him, I'm outta here.

A unique feature of Star Wars fandom is its puzzling habit of having large and extremely passionate fan bases develop around honestly rather minor characters. See: Fett, Boba and Offee, Barriss.

Why is it puzzling? What is the relevance of the proportion between the size of the fan base, the passion of the fan base and the importance of the character to the story? A cool character is cool, regardless of the character's importance.

And it's not really at all unique to Star Wars fandom, it's common in many fandoms. Comic book fans take it up to eleven. You'll find it in many television, movie and literary franchises, too.

Exactly this. I haven't played The Force Unleashed but there is nothing about this character's description that is even remotely like someone I'd want to watch for more than ten seconds.

A male version of Mara Jade? Jack's above post summed up nicely how I feel about that.

The Starkiller/Kota team in TFU was very reminiscent of Starkiller/Skywalker in one of The Star Wars drafts, I'd love to see that kind of dynamic in Rebels.

I like Starkiller, sorta. I think. I mean it's Sam Witwer so that's all I need.I think at some point it would be neat to have the character but only to have him do something really cool then Vader come in and do something really...uh...cooler.

I'm wondering why the thread title makes it sound like Starkiller is confirmed to be in Rebels (and no, I don't think I'd want him in the show).

Personally, I would like to see him, I played both games and I enjoyed the character but his powers would have to be toned down considerably, I mean he comes off in the second game as the Star Wars version of Goku. . The thing that I think will prevent him being in it is the Inquisitor. Really the Characters are too similar.

    No thank you.
Galen Marek is a lame character. How can he do all that with the Force? You can tell it was a blatant attempt by Lucas Games or whatever to get non-SW fans to get into Star Wars. Marek is not even a part of my canon.

Well I would be more interested in seeing Rahm Kota as a character. If they have to include Starkiller in the series it should be more of a talked about character with very very few scenes.
