...I'm gonna be a part of it - New York, New York!

Ok, technically I'm not leaving until early tomorrow morning, but I'll be in NYC for the rest of the weekend. What should I see while I'm there? I don't think tickets to SNL are gonna happen, but Broadway is a definite possibility.

I did! And it was amazing.

My friends and I went to Brooklyn's Botanical Gardens, walked all over time square and central park, saw Phantom, and went to eat at my favorite restaurant ever - Ellen's Stardust Diner. The waiters and waitresses take turns singing show tunes, and our waiter was really flirty. I got him and two other waiters to sing 'Under the Boardwalk' for me. :D

Maybe I'll post a few pics tomorrow.

Thanks! Is that where you saw Wicked a few months ago? That's next on my list of things to see, except I don't think you can see it without ordering tickets way in advance.

I've never been to New York. I saw it when it came to the Fox here in Atlanta.

Ah, I saw the traveling show too, in Ohio. Still a stellar production, but I really want to see the Gershwin theatre.

Okay, well good luck with it. Phantom and Wicked are the two biggest shows currently...

You saw one, see the other...

I've yet to see a stage version of Phantom:(

I saw travelling Wicked and Gershwin Wicked - both were great, but the one in NYC was better.

It's easy to get tickets for, so whenever you get to New York, you need to see it!

The Lion King is very popular too. That's also on my list.

I saw the Lion King when I was younger with my grandparents. What I really want to see is RENT - and Spamalot :D

You saw both versions of Wicked? I'm jealous!

RENT would be amazing! I know a few people who've seen the original Roger and Mark in the traveling show. Maybe that'll stop close to you.

Lion King or Wicked are my top choices, but where I get the discounted tickets, they're never available. I'll probably see Mamma Mia next, because they usually have them.
