Oh crap, concerning Ender's Game, it's one of my favorite novels, and I think Orwell is a great author.

    Ender's Game is gold.
I love Card's writing and interesting stories.
Bean's story was very interesting too.

The entire Ender's series is just done extraordinarily rare. It never comes across as "science fiction", although the premises give that impression. In the end they are stories about people, collections of people so intelligent that they are interesting but ignorant enough to be relatable, burdened with so much as to excite you but human enough to buckle under the weight, clever enough to keep dialogue crisp but lax enough to cause damage with their words unintentionally. Card FTW
