While I understand that everyone is upset over this whole situation, spamming this thread and other ones across the JC isn't going to help resolve anything. Neither will slamming Philip.

Focus your energy in more a constructive way.

It wasn't done in this case. So it's up to guessing as to why. I think if you are asking for personal information, full disclosure as to why is in order.

I don't think a war is the way to go...especially involving the AoE. Personally, I'd like these boards to still exist in 5 years, and like phil said...if they're too much trouble, he'll just shut them down. I don't want that.

Because apparantly it was IGN that stonewalled Philip Wise to know who all the mods were by name and address. Even though he may or may not agree with it, IGN foots a part of the bill.

On the real, I will remove blame IGN, because I'm not sure now if that's an entirely accurate or responsible statement.
