Status Stars

I have noticed stars, or other symbols that denote that you reach a milestone for posting.

at some other forums, they have the status next to the name at all times. why isn't that done here?

 

People were spamming to increase their star status. So they were turned off.

You can still see stars by going into your users watching you list. If you add yourself to the list, you can see how many stars you yourself have.

They are only used on the link provided for each user, after that, no more. I'm glad they aren't around.

Plus, Bib's star would be so big it would poke holes in your computer's monitor.

People are going to rob banks regardless of whether they go to jail or not, doesn't mean we should make it legal.

 

i agree with DDH on this issue.

 

An administrator can cycle between stars and no stars. For the reasons stated above, we have them turned off.
