San Fran, CA Steampunk Event Thingy at Emeryville

Steampunk has always reminded me a little about Star Wars ever since I heard of it. Anyway there is a steampunk exhibition in Emeryville at the Hilton Garden Inn on March 12, 13 and 14. I will be going at least one of those days in my Steampunk Han Solo costume. Check out their website and give it a think.

well it doesnt look like i'll be going to this anymore due to a 501st event friday night, the SFFF meeting on saturday, and some other plans on sunday. Looks like i'll have to wait till the dicken's fair till i can get my steampunk on

 

Tom, recheck your calendar. You seem to be off by a day. The 501st event is Saturday night and the SFFF meeting is on Sunday. But yeah, these events could kill the steampunk movement.

Thanks for suggesting the event though Tom. We appreciate it. I personally don't have any steampunk costumes so the attraction was not too great for me. I appreciate the costumes, but if I'm gonna go to an event I may as well go to one that I've got a costume for. Or, stay home and work on a new costume, (or as the case may currently be, stay home and slave on display items for WonderCon. Why do I get myself into this every year? LOL!)

 

CRAP. You're right... The SSFF meeting is sunday, which means i will be an hour late.
