How does this merged Community forum work?
with Artoo and Threepio!






The merged forum comprises the former forums of JCC, Senate, Amphitheatre, Arena, Census, and both SF&F Forums: Games is getting its independence back and is not part of the merged forum. The layout is almost identical to the current one, with the tags up in the header.

We've taken one month worth of threads of every one of the old forums and moved them to a new merged forum. Yes, we are aware all of these discussions are half a year old, but we thought moving them would be kind of a "happy medium" between starting anew and the madness of merging all the old forums together. There are several redundant threads, but we didn't want to start merging or locking anything without consulting with you first. So, once we get there, we'll deal with these cases one by one: some redundant threads might warrant coexisting, some might work better merged, and in some cases starting anew might end up being the prefered outcome.


What's the current status of the Community forum?

The current organization of the Community category is like this:

Community - The main forum.
Community Rules & Policy - We've moved all of the old stickies to this forum because we didn't really want twenty different stickies up there. We are most likely going to streamline, rewrite and repurpose and of these threads but, for the meantime, they are here.
Community Archives - All of the old Community and SF&F forums have been moved here. If you want one of the old threads moved back to the main forum, just drop us a line. As a rule of thumb, if a thread would've been unlocked by request before, it's going to be able to be reactivated now.


As we're in a transitional period, expect things to be bumpy for a while. We're going to try to be as open as possible about what's going on, but also request your patience for the time being. We're in this together, after all.
