Looks like my girlfriend was able to get off more work. So she doesn't have to go in till 4. Looks like I won't be able to make it until you're all quitting. :(

so we are only going to have three people out of a 7 person party present.
That is gonna make it hard to progress the story too much. This may be just a short session today.

    Hey there RPGers!

Sorry about the great delay in getting out the summary this time, my life has been hectic to say the least. I will endeavor to be better about this in the future and will attempt to get the summary up fast, hopefully the next day.

    (steps onto soap box)
Before I get to the summary I want to say a few words and state that I have some concerns about the game as it stands right now. We seem to have several players who come in and out of the game because they are either not into the game or are otherwise busy. This makes the game very hard for the players who do attend and for me seeing that others have to make up ground for some players and some players may possesses items needed by the group. I am trying to get everyone involved in a on going long term quest because they are the best and most fun type, but that is very hard if people only show up occasionally.

So to help the overall continuous story I suggest three concepts.

First, we set up one night a month that is solid for role playing so everyone can put it down on the calendar and try their hardest to attend and if they can not give the GM and other players as much warning as possible. This helps out everyone and would be the best thing to do for the story and the group.

This leads to the second point is that people invest in this experience. RPGs are tons of fun once you get it all the way and commit to the story and your character. I have seen some really great character acting by several players and some trying to do what they can. RPGing takes some commitment and dedication but it pays off, and you only get better with the more times you do it. So I am calling for anyone who is really into in to continue on and for those who are half hearting it to let it go. It hurts the story to have people fall in and out of the adventure and makes me have to explain where you either disappeared to or materialized from. Han would not have just evaporated during the Battle of Endor and if he had that would have been BAD. It isn?t a matter of life and death but others are depending on you and your character to be there to play if you say you are part of the team. I have to show up or there is no story, so the least I can do is ask if you are going to play, then play. Make an effort or just come for the story, but if you are in then you are in.

Thirdly, I have planned a quest for a large party of players and currently I am unsure about the status of some of our players. So you need to post, are you in or out. No hard feelings or nothing, I just need to know if you are willing to show up when we plan games save the end of the world, death of a loved one, or public notice to everyone that next time you will not be able to make it. We have some newcomers, some vets, and some players who went incognito. Please let me know your status. I currently have a quest planned which involves storming an Imperial Asteroid Prison. That is gonna take some players and time to pull off. If we have less then four players I might need to tweek my quest a bit or plan a new quest totally. Jon, due to the distance and such I am gonna count you out but if you are in town and confirmed to be in attendance I will figure out a way to get you into the action. The rest need to ask themselves if they are willing to dedicate one weekend night a month to RPG or not. Also, the GM will not be allowing the characters to be played by anyone but the player who designed it. I will not play your character and no other player will be allowed to play your character. If you are not at the meeting you are not in the game period. It makes it easier for everyone.

Lastly I have a self critique because I have been a bad GM. I have been more of a story teller then a GM the last several sessions. I have let some players (*cough* John *cough*) get away with too much and kinda run wild with my quest. That is cool to an extent but not to the extent that has been going on. I also have found that I lack the info for some things and need more info. So from now on I am going to try to do thing

Well that being said, we had a mini session of SW RPG on 02/04/06 and the results were as follows:
(To those who were there correct me if I get if wrong it was after all two weeks ago?)

The Strike Team endeavored to get the Ewok off the Rebel base and over to the settlement where the rest of the Strike Team had just let several spies from the Hutts go scampering back to their slimy masters. They had learned that there might be info to be had but first wanted to get the whole Strike Team in one place.

Ewok was still on the base looking through the base for any green Twi?lek who might be the perpetrated of the Docking Bay explosion and checked upward of 300 rooms before he got hungry and was given free run of a galley freezer, from which he retrieved two hunks of meat. He then continued his search, proudly displaying a food staff code card and claiming to be Rebel Security, despite having the words ?Food Staff? in bold letters on the tag. He continued to check rooms in hopes of finding a green Twi?lek and eventually did, and promptly stunned the guy. After having a Ithorian, who was scared to death of this little terror (Ewok is getting a rep on this base as one scary teddy bear), call Frobevnick he was notified that the green Twi?lek was a dock manager and not the right green Twi?lek. He was promptly escorted to the Skipray docks and escorted to the settlement as to avoid any further incidents on the base. Once on the settlement the whole Strike Team met up and agreed to go and get what information they could from the scum that hung out in the slum?s bars. After leaving Draco with all the weapons the Strike Team entered the first bar in the Twi?lek sector to be greeted by an information broker who stated he maybe able to help. He appeared overly friendly and was buying everyone drinks. Leavign that bar the Strike Team continued on and entered another bar to no avail and then came upon a bar full of Twi?leks, and this bar let patrons enter fully armed.(BAD IDEA) When the Ewok and Jon?s character tried to question the several green Twi?leks a figure who appeared to be the pit boss had the Strike Team ambushed. Jon stunned a few attackers and Draco attempted to calm the situation and push the attackers back (both actions which failed) while the Ewok commenced to kill the pit boss with a single shot to the head. After rummaging through the pit boss?s pockets and stole his gun the Ewok was given 2,000 credits to spare a twi?lek?s life. Not finding what they wanted there they headed on to the next bat where they met a Duro who had an affinity for Twi?lek females and happened to be a information broker. He had some information which he imparted. The Docking Bay incident was a clever incident planned by the Hutts to try and gain ground in the information trafficking business which was mainly run by the Blacksun Corp. of the outer rim. Wanting a piece of the market, the Hutts used a human male to infiltrate the base as a dock worker and had the human female agree to set off the charge for a large sum of money. In return the Hutts had hot and exclusive information to sell to the highest bidder, either the Imperials or the Rebellion to keep it hush hush. The only problem was that the Hutts were being watched by the Blacksun Corp. and that is who the green Twi?lek was with. Given no recourse and trapped in a base he was supposed to be monitoring he fled on a skipray to the settlement. So the human female on the base set off the charge and was paid by the human male found there too on behalf of the Hutts. The green twi?lek was a agent of the Blacksun Corp and was stationed to watch out for the Hutts planning something to get profits and obviously feared reprisal if found by the Rebels. The Strike Team negotiated this information and a way for Black sun to counter the Hutts information to the Imperials. Either way the Rebel Outer Rim base is forfeit and must be evacuated. This is where this session drew to a close.

John?s Ewok had a ton of action this round 250 XP for you. Nice Shooting Tex!!
    Veronna did some good reasoning
