I meant meeting, the chat idea sounds great though. Reading may occasionally be a problem too, but if it meets once a month I don't think it would be that bad.

    :p

EDIT: I checked out the chatroom and got in just fine. O:)

Frank, I wonder if it has something to do with dial-up? Can you check again? Preferably at a slow net time...(when is that, right?).

I am soooo poor (cash wise) I just can't keep up with buying books. Maybe one day when my kids are grown. LOL! But, I have had other FF members be kind enough to lend me books, so I figured I would share what I have.

It's still not working for me, Christina. I'm going to try downloading some version of Java since I don't have it on this computer anymore since I had to replace the hard drive a couple months ago.

EDIT: It took over an hour to download coffee....er I mean Java :p but it's working for me finally. :D

I just stuck my nose in the chat thread and found out the free chat site appearantly isn't free and we have been locked out of it so it seems we'll have to discuss the books at the meetings and in this thread.

I haven't actually read any of the x-wing series yet and I own books 2 and 3. I guess a library trip is in my future.

Oh Renee, you are gonna love 'em.
The x wing series is so different from the rest of the books.
yep, I am not sure where all my books are either, so my friendly local library will come in handy for me too.

While not a book per se, I strongly recommend getting Legacy Volume 1: Broken. Jedi, Sith, Imperials, rogues, lightsaber battles...it's pure Star Wars. And it's awesome for it.

It looks like it's not. At first everyone was so excited about it and now no one seems to want to be involved. The person running it does not costitute a club.

Oh no! Frank that is awful, I am so sorry. If I was not this close to finishing RN school, I would love to join in. As I love a good discussion on the series. It was such a wonderful idea.

I think it is quiet all over the boards. Not just this thread. Actually this one is ones that I would think would go over well.

Set a date to discuss the book Frank. Maybe that will give a jump start! :D
