I found a Econo Lodge Five miles out for 40.00 a night.THis means I have more money to spend on goodies.
Im taking my eighteen, forteen and five year olds.

 

Good deal! We're all going to have to start coordinating soon to meet up while we're down there.

brother Darth Maul, my forteen yo son Jango Fett and 5 yo son Yoda.

 

I'll be going as a TIE Pilot and some dude that looks like Kid Rock.....lol


I may hafta look into that Econ-O-Lodge. I've seriously been thinking of scaling back to just going one day, but heck, for $40 a night, even I could afford that. And I think I'm invloved with too many groups to go just one day, see C3 AND meet up with everyone.

I've got this group, a yahoo group, Omega Wing (TIE Pilot costumers), the 501st, my Star Wars collecting group, etc

We're working on it still. News about it is relatevely new. Yours truly volunteered to help with the paperwork. I'll keep you posted. We will be looking for volunteers, hint hint.

 

I'm bringing my kids but if there is anything I can do, if it happens, let me know.

 

If the Econo-lodge is still open, you know there's going to be a bunch of us staying there!
I guess I think I'm going to C3 now. I don't know how I'm going to manage to swing it with work and all, but I suppose if something comes up we could start a scalp/resale thread somewhere in Community. I mean, if everyone else in thew world can find a way, so can I. I hope.

I am hoping to go. Spidey(hubby) seems agreeable. I keep checking to see who is going to be there. No link yet. I have met some of the SW people at the different Dragon Cons and I met Mark Hamill in Milwaukee while he was promoting Walking Across Egypt. Strange, I am a huge Mark Hamill fan, but I have actually been most impressed with Anthony Daniels. He was truely a class act and a nice man.

 

I plan on going, reserved my room today at econo lodge south-if you use there sight directly and internet user rate-$35.99 a night Like someone mentioned before, more $ to spend there!

 

That was me! I can't wait til the time comes to go so that I can dress up and meet more people.
