St. Lou, MO StL's Second Annual Halloween Bash! (aka October's meeting)

Yep, bout that time again as well. I think it's best to avoid the weekend of Halloween, and maybe plan it the weekend before like last year (that'd be the 23rd).

Costumes for this one are not a requirement, but are highly recomended. What fun is a Halloween Party without costumes? We can plan some traditional Halloween games mixed in with some SW games.

Randy's volunteered to have it at his place unless someone else want to host it.

Let's go for a really big turn out on this one. So please, no one double book and try your best to make it!

 

This sounds really cool. Can't wait for this one. Of course, I probably won't have a costume, but I'll show up anyways. Still too poor to make a Jedi robe. I definitely won't mind seeing others.

Are we going to be meeting at a resteraunt(like what didn't happen last year) or someone's house? I think we have to get that part down straight off the bat.

Agreed, this needs to have the biggest turnout of all the meetings.

 

Hi! I will volunteer our house if that is ok. I love to entertain, and we need to show it off to *someone* (we just bought it). We would need to do it on a weekend, because of my children's school, but any will do! Let me know what you think. We are located on Park Ave, in Oakland (outside of Kirkwood). Yeah, after last year's mess I am definately handling all the arrangements personally. I learned my lesson on that one.

I am planning on making this meeting Hopefully I'll have my TIE Pilot costume done by then, so I'll bring that too.

Only problem I can forsee is (always in motion the future is), my daughter is competeing in the Little Miss Quincy pageant and there may be something that as her escort I have to do, but I don't think there is (pageant is the 30th, so that itself is not a conflict).

Alright update!

Location, time, and date have been confirmed. No excuses of this one, all of you have 2 months notice.

Location: gilraen's place in Oakland, (not too far from Webster IIRC)
Date: October 23rd
Time: 5:30pm until she kicks us to the curb.

Write it on your calendars, hands, PDA's, cell phones, bathroom mirrors where ever you need to, just don't forget!!

Also ride arrangements can be made here as well. My usual offer stands.

We are discussing the menu for this event right now. Does burgers and dogs sound good? I thought everyone could grab a little something to bring along as well. Declare what you'd like to bring here. Also need a tentative head count to start the planning. So...

Ok, I do not have a definite answer on the date yet, because I usually discuss this stuff with my parents, which none of them are home right now to ask them. So, I will hopefully get an answer on this one soon. Sounds fun though! Burgers, yummy burgers. Oh yes, I do imagine the kicking to the curb will be a reality.. LOL!

We are so happy to be able to host this party! I promise not hurt anyone in the process of kicking anyone to the curb, but if anyone is not in any condition to drive we will make arrangements (and room) for those said people to stay or to get a alternate way home.

We can provide chip & dip, and non adult beverages. Just let me know if there is anything else needed. We do have space for games, movies, and music. Dajuan is providing the games, and I have movies if someone has the music... I am sadly lacking in that dept. unless you like hard rock...

I have started classes so I may not be tending the boards very often, but Dajuan is in charge so let her know if there is anything I can do to make things fun!

No, I don't think she has a costume. She's really wanting the rainbow dress from Ep II though. I didn't plan on getting it for her but suddenly now that LSO is cancelled, I find myself with $100 to waste....

Well, I wouldn't be able to add much to the music selection myself....lol...I also have a predominantly hard rock collection.

And as to food/whatever, I have no idea yet, deciding if I want to bring something or just shop when I get there.
