Storm Watch!!

    Thanks for thinking of us. It was pretty nasty for awhile but I think the area is mostly back to normal. I live on one of Charleston's islands and the storm began its approach here around 3 AM on Sun morning. We lost power shortly thereafter and didn't have it back until 1 PM.

    There was wind damage throughout my area and several areas were pretty heavily flooded especially downtown Charleston where the historic homes are located and our biggest suburb, Mt. Pleasant.

    We were just lucky that it wasn't more serious than that. I hope that things are getting back to normal for everyone in Florida who was affected by Charley. Everyone here remembers the nightmare of Hugo well and wouldn't wish that on anyone.....
