DFW, TX Stormtrooper armor

Anyone know how to get ahold of the local 501st or how I can get a good deal on armor? I couldve sworn i talked to someone at the last expo about it, but for the life of me cant remember the details......

I myself is looking for a good deal on armour . I fond at A/X armour for 600$,but tthat was 2 years ago.

The armor can now be purchased for $475 USD. This is for the white armor kit only, does NOT include accessories such as boots, gun, bodysuit, or assembly.

 

Well the 475 kit looks great, but still a bit steep for me at the moment. I have to many other projects to consider but i will keep it in mind. A buddy of mine has already decided to purchase it though, it is a great deal!

btw, if any of you guys have a working r2 unit in your posession lemme know, itll save me a lot of building time!

 

What about checking some of the 501st boards and seeing if someone is selling their old armor? Just another possibility.. also eBay (although I'm always wary of those) has had those on there from time to time....
