Can anyone verify if this helmet is accurate to go with stormtrooper armor? I eventually want armor and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get this one and start tricking it out.

if you get armour... it normally comes with a Bucket... and one better suited for use then StarWarsShop.com, which I think is really just a shelf piece...

No, avoid that helmet. It's very ugly and not accurate. Every armor set I know of includes the helmet.

Sorry it's not better news, spooky. The Rubies line is really not very good, though, unfortunately.
The accuracy is just not there.

It might be fun to practice Ticking out on though... and to play around with...

    I have a comment...

It sucks. It's inaccurate and way too small.

    Aw, man...

I'm guessing there's no other official, licensed, quality helmets out there...

And I'm not much of a do-it-yourself guy, and I don't really want someone else's custom job...

Yep for the most part the official helmets stink.

I don't really want someone else's custom job...

Then you really don't want accurate ;)

There have been amazing custom made helmets that have world wide recognition, they are high quality and next to exact...

Nothing wrong with a custom job ;)

    ^ I second that.

To further drive home the point...

The official helmets ARE custom jobs (heck the original movie helmets were "custom" jobs), they are just really crappy ones and they are mass marketed. Unless you are going to make your own helmet, you will be buying somebody else's helmet no matter how you look at it.

    Well, I suppose you've got a point.

Now, I just need to find someone who's renowned for making quality helmets...

You aren't going to get all the armor? You just want the bucket? It might look a bit strange just wearing a bucket without the rest of the goodies. :)

Unfortunately, all the "official" versions I've seen are awful (they look like they would bounce if you dropped them)!
