Hey Gang!

I am in contact with a guy who is producing some nice armor....Here is his email reply back to me:

"hello,
Yes I can get you stormtrooper armor but it will also be made out of styrene as the clone trooper armor is.and it will also come with instructions for assembly but will not include the notions needed to assemble it such as the velcro, glue, rivets,etc.
This one does come with a helmet too!

the price on this armor is only 250.00
shipped."

I have asked him to send some pictures of the suits. I have seen his Clontrooper outfits and they are awesome!!

I will try to post some pics of the clonetrooper outfits!

hey Gecko this guy have a website we can look at?

 

I don't know about it being made out of styrene, I hear that most peoples armor is made out of ABS Plastic. But the price isn't too bad. about half what I heard the ABS armor was going for a couple of years ago. I would like to see a peace of armor or just the plastic that it's made out of... before I take the plunge on this suit... I would also like to see every thing the kit comes with.

for instance does it come with the lenses for the eyepieces in the the helmet?

that is a good deal for armor. does he have pics, and does he send it to yo cut out already?

 

as for the good deal factor... does any one know who this guy is? I would like some people from the 501st to vouch for this guy to make sure he legit. Noting against the armor maker, I just don't want to waste $250.

it that the same person who is doing the ebay auctions the biker scout armor? I have to say I'm impressed, and that is pretty hard to do. The kits look good.

Yes....this is the same guy! $150.00 for a speeder bike outfit? I may have to get one of those too!!! Lets see if he would give us a group discount!! If we all get some armor we could have a armor workshop!

Check out his ebay auction and click on the ME logo by his ebay ID. Read the info on the styrene he uses!

i wouldn't blame you since you can get the stormtrooper and the biker armor for less then some armor...

 

I have a concern that the helmet is a little big.

on another note, I might have talked a friend of mine in to picking up some ST armor as well.

Perhaps the guy wearing the armor in the pictures should wear some shoulder pads...

He is kinda thin

 

he does look tiny but Gecko does the guy give a 30-day guarntee/send back at all?

 

I will ask...that is a good point!...check out his feedback...so far he has had pretty good stuff said about his stuff!
