    That's what I thought too. You can see how reflective that helmet is by the way it turns green when he fires his lasers.

    Yeah, when i saw the live stormtroopers that was the first thing that popped into my head.
    Another reason not to like this new look. They seem to have redesigned the getup simply to sell new toys cause the armor looks good in picture but when it's moving i dont see any difference between the OT and these.Still looks like goofy plates.

    I did like the pilot helmet.

    If you zoom in and look closely at the few Stormtroopers who are standing alongside the Imperials up on the dais, they appear to resemble ARC Troopers.

    i heard someone say the troopers looked prequelesque. i can see it. a great amalgamation of smoother clones and bulky troopers with a coat of shiny.

    Regarding the First Order, what if that name is meant to connect to Revenge of the Sith and Order 66?

    While technically Order 66 was issued before Palpatine declared the establishment of the Empire, it could be seen as the first order of the Empire, by the Emperor. Connect this with the rumors about the Empire using a weapon to target Jedi, and you have The First Order.

    Yes and it also seems that all the officers in the background are wearing capes as well. Which looks rather cool, I think.

    That flamethrower trooper (or whatever he's called) is a truly beautiful thing to behold. Phenomenal.

    Some interesting designs, the flame troopers definitely look give a nasty vibe. I think I'll back away from those guys and gals.

    Ugh. Those new troopers will take some getting used to. I'll have to see them in action before I make up my mind whether or not I like them. Too plain.

    I noticed that black helmeted character initially, but didn't get a close enough look at mask. It does look a bit like a rhino! Also, some of those First Order officers up on the dais, to the right of center, seem to be wearing capes or robes.
