    Name Strange World
    Genre Humor
Disclaimer Star Wars belongs to Mr. Lucas, Earth belongs to us and the Man upstairs, and the OCs are mine.

Author's Note: This is my first fic and I have AS, so if there are any speeling mistakes (and there shouldn't be many) or the way something was written doesn't make sense please point it out because I know what I'm talking about. But be nice!

I writing this fic because my little brother just had a birthday and Luke Skywalker is one of his favorite charaters.

In Which Luke Goes On An Escort Mission (to escape housework and a ghostly duo) And Finds Himself On A Strange World

Luke Skywalker sat in his X-Wing and wished that he was elsewhere. Wedge had approached him two days ago and asked Luke to join him and five others on an escort mission to Taanab. Two men couldn?t show for one reason or other so Luke had agreed to help his friend by taking the two missing men?s place in the convoy.

I should have said no. He thought ruefully. The only reason I accepted was because I was tired of sifting through all those things at the Temple and listening to father and Obi-Wan argue playfully about something that happened on Cato Neimoidia and how what ever happened was Obi-Wan?s fault and not father?s.

?R2, how long until we revert to real space?? he asked. We will revert to real space in thirty standard minutes and forty standard seconds. R2 replied. ?Thanks,? was all Luke could say.

I wonder what father will do to pass the time until I get back. Most likely he?ll be making life miserable for Han. Like he did when Han asked Leia if she wanted to go to Corellia for something, unaccompanied, not even Chewbacca would go with them.

Luke smiled at the unbidden memory. Han had sent an entire week just recovering his nerves after an angry Anakin Skywalker had put his speeder in a nose dive then flew it through the wrong lane of traffic for two seconds.

For five days Anakin Skywalker had muttered something about the galaxy having enough immoral people and illegitimate children without his daughter and a Corellian ex-smuggler adding themselves to the hourly growing list of such scum and vileness.

Apparently Anakin Skywalker had thought that Han had nefarious plans. It didn?t help that he didn?t trust Corellians very much.

There had even been a threat of a blaster rifle wedding.

All of that had taken place a month ago and Leia had not come to see Luke when he was in the Temple since. Han would visit but would always ask if a chair or crate was vacant of a ghost before sitting.

Han was determined not to upset his girlfriend?s deceased father never stayed at Leia?s apartment long before leaving again. When Lando asked Han why he never stayed at Leia?s long Han had replied that he didn?t want to either have his Hyperdrive fail in the middle of nowhere with a stripped comm unit or have to marry Leia with a lightsaber held against his back.

Coruscant had nearly become a house for the mentally disturbed and criminally insane beings and Luke was one of them. Between an upset Leia, two ghosts who would rather spend hours arguing about whose fault some event happened, even if it was all play, and a Temple in disrepair with equipment scattered throughout nearly every room and the Archives a complete disaster.

Yoda said that the state the Temple was in was his fault. Anakin would counter him by saying that it was his fault, and then Obi-Wan would say that it was everyone in the room was at fault. Luke had no idea what Obi-Wan meant by that.

To top things off when the Ghostly Dou wasn?t arguing over the Cato Neimoidia thing they would act like teenagers and disappear for hours so that if Luke needed them for something whether it was to his destination without getting lost and in the sewers or to learn what some object did or to get past security codes. And they refused to say where they had gone and that it was a surprise.

Everything that had transpired in the past two months was maddening and depressing.

I should be sending my time medit
