What: The Grand Rapids post office would like our help to primere their new Star Wars stamps.

I am looking for a group of costumers who would like to help pass out flyers and pose for pictures.

I'm about 65% I can do it.
I want to fill in as many differant events I can now since I can't make it to the WC event again this year.

 

I have a message out to Sansweet checking to see if we can get a Digital print of ROTS. We will see if we can get the print or not... Lets hope!

 

I would have like to go, I would have my New (second) Master Replicas DV helmet back, but I won't be in town. Any other Post Office events I would like to be involved in if you need a Vader. And I would like to attend the WC game and hopefully work doesn?t come up like last year.

 

As always...im in D-man...just give a hollar on that day on when to be there

I have one BIG problem.... I cut my hair last week, I'm not sure if it'll be long enough to slick back.

Donavon - do you have a time frame?? I have drudgery to take care of but perhaps can get it done before or after.

Donavon did you talk to the Studio today? Any updates to report. I'm set to go for Saturday because I got the day off.

 

While I may not be in costume, I may still stop by the event. Gotta support my local group SOMEHOW!

I'm about 15% I can go... I'm going to see if I can slick my hair back tonight, I also have allot of around the house things to do.

I'll keep my eye on this event, because I want to help, plus I need to make up for missing the WC event.

We will be there 4pm - about 7pm.

I still have a bunch of flyers from the post office that we can hand out. We'll also have a small display to set up from the post office as well. Nothing too flashy.

If they can drop a show Saturday then we might get to watch Star Wars on the big screen. If all depends on if they can do it or not.

sorry to say I won't be there. It comes down to babysitting but I made a promise that I just don't want to break. I didn't know that this was a confirmed date for Studio 28 until late in the game.

and never did learn about the post office deal...so I've been relatively out of the loop, so to speak.

I really want to take advantage of every opportunity to use my lightsaber but DRL "forces" many of us to have the calendar mapped out well in advance.

Have a great time - hope you're able to see SW on the big screen.

 

Sad to say, upon reflection, I won't even be able to be there, as a cheerleader capacity. I forgot, when I replied to this thread, that I have a family dinner around the time of the appearance.

 

Well I'm 100% out... I have to much to do at home.

I hope there is going to be an event before the WC that I can make it to.

It was a little slow but we did okay.

Phil Font in his Sand Trooper, Scott in his jedi get up, Shannon in her Rebel Fleet trooper, Joel in his Jedi outfit and myself in my Imp Officer were able to attend.

Ah and thats why you are getting new armor because you are so darn good looking in your old armor. I don't know where you get your delusions from sand man.

 

Well you know it's true and as far as new armor well lets just say that the old armor does not fit right in places that it should......
