i wish the period between Crucible and Legacy volume 1 had been at least detailed in vague manner (to give an idea of the story) or fleshed out completely.

 

1 - would of liked to get another appearance of Raith Sienar, the character is oddly fascinating to me. Shame he only appeared once, but I guess there's the chance in the new Tarkin novel

2 - a follow up on the Republic Commando game, guess they could of called it Imperial Commando. Would of liked to help Vader hunt down and kill Jedi during the Great Jedi Purge; just imagine the asymmetrical multiplayer possibilities too.

 

- series about Jacen's Force journey
- Stackpole with an I, Jedi sequel that closes Corran's story
- Stover taking over the Commando series. I think I was more pumped by those rumors than the news of Episode VII.
- Knights of the Old Republic III
- any material connected to the Underworld concept

I'd have liked decent closure for the few characters I cared about.

 

A Twin Suns Squadron series.
The Alaskan conflicts. Wasn't there some Star Dragon released on Coruscant around that time?

 

Tyranus by James Luceno: A novel, perhaps a duology covering Dooku and Qui-Gon's earlier years. To when Dooku began flirting with the Dark Side and when he finally became a Sith. The founding of CIS. And up to the Clone Wars.

Amidala novel. Some on her earlier years. And also there's not really much on her life between TPM and AOTC. More on her family too please.

Anakin confessing to Palpatine about the Tusken Raiders.

Anakin/Obi-Wan adventures.

Legacy Era:

Are the Fels descendants of the Solos? And I assume they are, but it'd be nice to know for sure.

Kol Skywalkers parents and how he's related Ben Skywalker. I assume they are grandfather/grandson, but still it'd be nice to see how these family trees line up.

 

Invasions of Seranno and Raxus Secundas

 

I'd have liked to have seen a proper narrative around the Second Great Schism (in novels, comics, games or all three), instead of just reading about it in sourcebooks.

Ideally with Malachor V being involved somehow.

Dooku by James Luceno

 

Prequel film audio dramas using the actors from TCW, the conclusion to The Force Unleashed and an audio dramatization of the series with the same actors, and an audio drama of the New Jedi Order series would be interesting (but it would probably be written by someone that tries to be cool and continuity savvy and depicts Vergere truly as Darth Chicken and completely ruins Traitor and misses the point of the NJO and that would just result in my iPod being dumped in the trash).

 

It's probably best that people stay away from the NJO. To many people misunderstand it and the result is that they inadvertently ruin the series.

I really wish the EU would have gotten a chance to explore smaller scale conflicts, with non Jedi characters. I think they were slowly going that route with books like Scourge and Mercy Kill. It would have been fun to spend more time exploring different sides of he universe. Also, I'd have liked them to tell more stories set in the New Sith Wars. It should be a very interesting series of conflicts and we have only really explored the last 50 years, and even on that there are barely any stories.

 

Luceno could write it.

 

I agree; he would do a great job. I wasn't counting him because he was part of the NJO writing team; so he understands their intent. Although, even if he hadn't been, I think he would have done good.

 

What caused the Second Great Schism? How did the Jedi ideology become the Sith ideology?

 

I would love a Dooku novel, especially if it delved into pre-cyborg Grievous and Dooku's relationship with Elodore Vane and how his ideals led him to turn his back on the Order :[

 

I agree. Picking where he left things off in the Plagueis novel.
