Phx Stupid office machines (Rant)

I just had to pull some stuff from microfiche-yes microfiche!!!! (I bet nobody else has seen one of those for at least 10 years!) Stupid thing must be 20 years old and it jams at least twice between each page it prints. I swear, if I ever get the chance, I am going to "Office Space" that thing (a co-worker uses that as a verb. )

Just had to vent.

Qwest switched my long distance lines again and its just about taking a court order to get them switched back. I think I am about to go postal. This is the 3rd time this year.

 

maybe you should think about when jk rowling's gonna release book 5 instead of worrying about the office equpiment (that *was* you reading goblet of fire in line, right?).

 

Yep, Jupitertronic, that was me re-reading Goblet of Fire in line (fourth time? or fifth? I've lost track. ) Last I heard, book 5 probably won't be out until next year sometime )

 

Gee, and I was worried about falling behind because I'm only on Book 3. (I've been on Book three for 9 months. Better get back on it. ) There's a new preview out by the way.

Qwest USED to have some offices in the building I work in, but a bunch of them got laid off, and the offices are empty now. Does that make you feel better, M_D?

(Not that there's anything good about people getting laid off.)

(My manager once made a reference to TPS reports in a memo as a joke. Half the dept. cracked up, the other half wanted to know what a TPS report was(making the rest of us laugh harder).

Such a true to life movie that is!!

and he moved my desk in front of the window and i liked sitting in front of the window because then i could look out and then they moved my desk over by the door and i didn't like sitting in front of the door and they told me to turn my music down but i was told i could listen to my choice of music at a reasonable volume because if peg had her headphones on i was told i could listen to the music at a reasonable volume between the hours of eight and ten, and then they switched from the swingline stapler to the boston stapler but i like my swingline stapler because it doesnt jam all that much like the new boston staplers do and then lumbergh said he wanted to move my desk again and i told him that i didnt want to move but he suggested i move my desk and i didnt receive my paycheck and if they move my desk one more time i told him...

okay, OKAY milton, i have to get outta here!
