Subtle (and not so subtle) PT/OT parallels

    I was watching RotJ last night, and I'm probably just a big geek with too much time on my hands, but I couldn't help but notice how when Luke is glaring at Palps when he's brought before him, it's a lot like how Ani was glaring at the Council members in TPM when they refused to train him.


    Also, when Luke calls his lightsaber to him and Vader blocks his strike, it reminds me of Anakin blocking Dooku when he's about to deliver his final blow to Obi-Wan.


    Are there any other subtle parallels that you have noticed?

    How about the Emperor's tower on the Death star looking a bit like the central spire of the Jedi temple.

    'The DarkSIde will take everything and corrupt it beyond recognition'. I don't think so.
