No, and while Carnival of Souls doesnt particularly interest me, Ginger Snaps does....

 

Carnival of Souls is an experience you won't forget. It's not like the child-molesting clown remake. This is the eerie original.. It's definitely a must-see for those who enjoy weird but excellent movies.
The sounds/music of it... The look of it... the texture... the shhhmell of it... gooooooooooolllddd.. (whoops, that's Goldmember!)

This film is just CREEPY through and through!

Ginger Snaps is great, as well!!!

 

I just have trouble getting through some of the older b & w films.... seeing the hokey special effects just make me start laughing. I try not to, but what can I say, we are in a spoiled age when it comes to SFX in the movies now....

 

The hokey special effects are part of the charm.

 

This one DOESN'T have hokey special effects.

 

Hmmm.... could be interesting, then....

 

I vote to make every other Friday the official summer movie night. Weither it be hanging at a friend's house or catching the newest flick at the Box Office.
